Course Curriculum Overview

MBBS is a tough course.There are a lot of practicals as well as a lot of theory to read and learn.The course curriculum is very well structured.It balances both the theory examinations and practicals very well.

Placement Experience

There are no placements in the college.A student has to do a one year internship either in a hospital or under a doctor.Usually students get placed in the same hospital they were working as an intern.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee structure is quite feasible and majority of the students can afford it.The tuition fees is around 13610 INR, Hostel fees is around 5000 INR.The fees of the college is very low as compared to any private college.

Campus Life

There are a lot of workshops and seminars related to the field of medical science.Guest lecturers come from other colleges or hospitals to tell the students about their respective fields.There is a library from which students can issue books.

Hostel Facilities

Yes, the college provides separate hostels for both boys and girls.The food served in the mess is average.There are usually 2 to 4 people sharing a room.Rooms are kept clean.Basic facilities are provided to the students.

Tirunelveli Medical College was established in the year 1965 under the affiliation to the Tamil Nadu Dr. MGR Mdical University, Chennai and administered by the Directorate of Medical Education of the Government of Tamil Nadu.The candidates who are willing to take admission in this college have to appear for NEET UG and qualify the cut off.

The faculty of the college are highly experienced and highly knowledgeable.They are friendly and have a helping attitude towards the students.The faculty members are accessible all the time to clear a student's doubt.

Placement Experience:

top tech companies will come to our campus for replacement some of them are Amazon, JP Morgan, TCS, cognizant according to our skill level, they will choose before applying for any company. And the average placement they offer is 7-10 LPA. You should pass some exams in our college, which is held by our placement cell, so those are pretty much annoying nearly 10 exams they will put just for applying for each company.

Placement Experience:

The students in their internship will get around 35000 per month excluding their mess fees, they have the option to opt out of the mess. And once they finish their internship they had to do two years bond in places where the colleges allot them and the salary for those two years will be decided by the place the person goes and itll be definitely more than what they get during internship.

They start conducting interviews after completing the 6th semester. At least 6 companies come for the campus placement like tech Mahendra, TCS, and manufacturing companies like sakthi auto-complete, tata motors, etc. They placed a minimum of 150000 per aum. The percentage of students getting placements is 30%. Get a job in a reputed company.
