Entrance Preview

I gave CET and I had scored more than 80%. I opted for his college as I had heard good reviews from other students.

Course Curriculum Overview

Pune University had released a new curriculum and hence was relevant. I had opted for Marketing. The college also offered a Computer Lab to enable the students to become more tech savvy. The curriculum was a mix of lectures and group presentations.

Placement Experience

Majority of the companies that visited the campus were from outside Pune. As I was not open to placements outside of Pune, I did not sit for the campus recruitments but at my time 75% of the students had been placed through campus recruitments.

Fee Structure And Facilities

I was admitted in the free seat and at that time the fee was INR 10000. This did not include exam fees, cost of books etc. I am not sure on the current fee structure but at that time it seemed reasonable.

Alumni/Alumna

A good network. Every year the alumni meet is held in January. The same network is also used for placements of future students. Guest lectures. Also alumni are encourage to come as guest lecturers and share their experiences and success stories. The current Alumni head is very active and ensures that frequent updates, event schedules etc.

Exam Structure

The exam was semester basis and yes exam time are usually hectic as with other co-curricular activity participation, presentations, placement activities etc. There was a pressure to clear the exams with good grades to ensure placements in good companies.

Faculty

The faculty was a mix of University recommended qualified and there were a variety of guest lectures that were organized. This mix allowed for a curriculum which had its foundation in the past but also accepted that the present was a must to ensure the readiness of the students to deal with the corporate environment.

Very bad experience about this college

Course Curriculum Overview:

The college provide some extra certificates like Excel or others which not value for money and also taeches foreign language but not single student can speak after the degree. And also not any facilities can speak german language

Balanced learning and real world relavance

Course Curriculum Overview:

It's well structured but there are areas that could be enhanced to better prepare students for the real world. Curriculum sessions are twice weekly, other faculty are invited to gain information from the industry. Recently, we had our ebek Cambridge exam. It was useful us to learn english for better knowledge gain.

Placement Experience:

Currently I am in first year so I have not been placed as of yet but the placemnets for our seniors is on going which is the first batch of MBA HCM and hence I would not be able to reveal the cokmpanies. The few summer internship companies though were Apollo, Nanavati, BMJ etc.

First green B-School in India

Remarks:

The faculties here are very supportive and some of them are always available on campus to help the students and mentor the students to groom them. They always push the students to learn by doing; which is experiential learning. The set up the talks and sessions from industry leaders time to time to keep the students and themselves update about the changes in the corporate world and make them ready to face the challenges.

I chose this college because it has many opportunities, exposure, placements, various clubs in each department you can join as per your interest, competitions, communities and socially active in the world. The admission process of the college is smooth. The eligibility for general category is above 50% in 12th class and for SC/ST 45% in 12th class. I chose to take admission to MIT because it is a well-known institution that also provided a great curriculum for the course which I was planning to pursue. I was looking to pursue International Business and MIT provides a perfect blend of subjects and options. It has dual specialisation courses which fascinated me. As an individual gets to explore new subjects along with the existing curriculum. The Admission usually opens after the 12th board. It consists of a simple 2-3 pages form which takes all your details. It's not necessary to have your marks card for entrance as MIT has its own Entrance curated for admission.
