Memorable Learning Experience!

No specific bad remarks. Very professionally run institution, and extremely proud of my teachers, admin staff and my fellow batchmates.

XAT. I wrote both XAT and CAT because I wanted to try for both IIMs and XLRI. I was working side by side while preparing & writing these entrance tests. I scored 80 percentile in XAT and 70 percentile in CAT. With my scores, LIBA was the best college I cracked after my GD and PI.

Companies that came were - Murugappa group, TI Cycles, cholamandalam bank etc. The placemeny experience was smooth and well managed. Everyone one in my batch got placed : 100% placement. Packages offered were between the 6 - 14 Lakhs per annum range based on work experience etc

Literally every festival and every significant occasion was celebrated in all its glory. This was really important as it brought us students from across the length & breadth of he country together. Examples - Diwali, Independence Day, Joy of giving week, Christmas, culturals etc.

Feasible. Our fee structure was around 4 Lakhs for the entire course. Split up as 60,000 for each semester and we had 6 semesters. Miscellaneous fees and hidden costs were never there and I liked that about my college.

Nope, I'm not aware of this information as I did not avail any. But a few of my friends did manage to secure some scholarships for education expenses - based on a vast range of criteria.

Campus life is really good. LIBA has one of the best campuses in India and I can proudly make this statement. Nestled in the heart of the city, LIBA campus has excellent greenery, playgrounds etc. Gender ratios were almost 1:1 and we had a lot of cultural events, socities for different hobbies etc.

As with every mess and every hostel, there were minor complaint but then that's quite natural as complaints stem from personal preferences and a hostel or mess cannot cater to each one's preferences. Overall the experience was very good and I would highly recommend.

We had excellent connections with the alumni network. One thing we realized was that the LIBA alumni was one proud bunch. Our interactions with seniors was amiable and very cordial right from day one. We felt at ease right from the beginning.

The course was hectic, and more than exams we had group presentations, group case studies, current affair discussions etc scheduled almost everyday. It helped us a lot in scaling up our knowledge. Exams were once every quarter.

The Faculty in my college was really good. We had experienced professionals in the industry come over and take specific electives for an entire semester. It was a wonderful experience learning ground-up with a practical background.
