Remarks

The college does not have anything negative about it. The infrastructure of the college is really very wide and it provides all of the facilities to the students such as laboratories and the lab equipments which are necessary. The college really holds a great respect in the city and among the students.

Course Curriculum Overview

Different streams are present for the students to choose from if they are willing to do the BTech course. All of the streams are present with very strong course curriculum and very strong practical sessions. The practical sessions are really very informative and educating. A normal day at our college is really very informative with a lot of work and lot of practical lessons.

Placement Experience

Internship opportunities are provided to the students after they have crossed the third year of their BTech course. Big companies often organised on campus interviews at our college to recruit the most meritorious students. The salary package starts from 1 lakh and above.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Fee structure of the college will be as follows-Every year the tuition fees will be 52000 rupees irrespective of your stream of BTech course. I think that this tuition fees is really very affordable and other than this tuition fee, there are no extra charges which are charged from the students.

Campus Life

College celebrates different type of festivals related to different types of religions that are established in India. The college environment is really very peaceful and free of any discrimination in favour of anyone. There are academic activities also such as workshops and seminars.

Admission

EMCET entrance examination must be undertaken by the students to be selected under the BTech course in this college. There are several quotas which has been finalized through which the students are selected in this course. The application procedure is very easy. You can visit the college campus and ask for the admission form which you will have to fill with your personal details and academic details. The students are selected on the basis of the rank that they get in the entrance examination.

Faculty

The faculty of the college is very good and very educated. This teaching faculty is one of those faculties which is very interested in teaching the students the different aspects about engineering. The faculty members are qualified enough with PhD degrees in the subjects that they are teaching.

Thinking Beyond Academics and Placements , life at BITS Pilani Hyderabad Campus.

Placement Experience:

Placement here are going on pretty well considering the recession that hit the market in recent years,student become eligible for placements from the first sem of their final year , typically 7th semester for single degree students (BE) and 9th semester for dual degree students (Msc+BE),as per the recent cycle around 310+ companies including Google, MIcrosoft,Goldman sachs etc. had visited campus with offer majorly ranging from 18 to 27 lpa , the highest package last cycle (domestic) was for 65lpa and average aroun 21 lpa. The perecentage of students getting placed is above 80% and remaining usually go on for pursuing masters or already have a PPO from the Practice School Internship.I personally will be sitting for placements in my last year and will be hoping to land a good offer.

Internships starts from spring break of 4th sem and placements start from spring break of 6th sem ( if you don't get a PPO ) Many big companies like Microsoft , Oracle , DeShaw and Qualcom visit the college. More than 80% of student that are eligible for placements get placed while the others get off campus placements or opt for higher studies. My plans after getting th degree depends on the CTC of package I get offered. If it is not upto my expectation I will pursue higher education abroad.

The Good, The Bad, and Unexpected Truth

i got into the admission into the college through eamcet examination and also got a good rank in that. The thing is , i didnt choose many colleges while selecting the colleges for admission , i choosed only my college i.e Ellenki college of engineering and technoly to take admission because i recieved a good review about the college from my senior brothers and i liked the college too. The main thing is The college is very near to my home and i dont have to waste a lot of time in travelling . Every student must realise that every college can proovide what it can provide and the same with faculty too, so we have to be aware of what we are doing and what we have to study.
