Entrance Preview

The GGSIPU conduct its entrence exam every year for each course and my Rank was 1072 (outside delhi quota) got admission in 2nd counseling.

Course Curriculum Overview

All semesters have a programming language subject and some of silubjects like OS, Network, DBMS, Data structures, Graphics, Algorithms, Theory of computation.

Internships Opportunities

There are so many companies visiting for the placements and the companies iving stipend between 10k to 15k and provide tranning on many technologies and the names of companies are :- Naggaro Software, NIIT Technologies, IVP Software, To The New Digital and so many more.

Placement Experience

There are so many companies coming for the placements and provide some brilliant packages IVP- 6 lacs, To the new digital- 5 lacs, Naggaro software - 4.5 lacs, Niit Technologies- 3.2 lacs And many more companies.

The fee structre for MCA at JIMs is 1st year-113000(aprox) 2nd year-104337 ,3rd year-104337, These amounts are including each of extra fee like exam fee library fee, alumni fee etc.

Fees and Financial Aid

No loan facility but yes scholarship facilities are there which are provided by IPU under EWS scheme nad the EWS scheme is for those who cant afford the college fees.

The Campus Life is brilliant here. Great crowd nice lads nice infra and all types of cultural activities two canteen one is open cafeteria and other one is closed canteen.

No, JIMS doesn't provide hostel facilities but the college is very much near To the residential area soyou can easily find many PG and flats there at reasonable price.

Placement Experience:

The placements of USICT are the best among all the colleges of IPU. Every average to top student will get a good placement here. You will get an ample number of opportunities here. And the whole team of placement cells is also very cooperative. You will get internship opportunities from the second semester itself and full-time opportunities from the third semester and continue till the end of the fourth semester. The highest package is 45 LPA, and the minimum package is around 3.5 LPA. Around 90% of students have got placed. I am currently working as a software developer at Alternative Path.

Good opportunity in JIMS

I applied for Rajagiri in Kerala and got into it, then was waiting for MHCET but the results kept on getting delayed, then I also got into JIMS, BIMTECH as well but due to budgetary issues and placements the best option was JIMS. I wanted to get into symbiosis but my Snap score wasn't that great. NMAT also my marks were good but not that good for taking admissions in top 3 colleges of narsee munji. The admission process of JIMS is very simple, you just have to apply through their website and pay the application fees, then you will get the mail for documents such as 10th, 12th marksheet, CAT/XAT/MAT/CMAT/NMAT/SNAP (whichever is applicable), graduation certificate/degree, work experience certificate(in case), copy of application form and admit card for Campus tour, GD, PI process which happens on 1 day. For those living in Delhi and NCR can go and visit the campus for these process , and for those outside of DELHI NCR can give the process online. Within 2-3 days you will get the mail for the results. Then after few weeks you will have to pay 1st installment fees to secure you seat in that course....Read More

I got admission to 2 colleges IITM Janakpuri and Jims Rohini, and I opted for Jims because of the ranking + placement records, and more profound environment like it's known for PGDM so that alumnus is also very good. Which we can reach out to in future for professional guidance. I didn't get rejected as I only applied for 3-5 but 3 in which I didn't get admit is because their cutoff of IPUCET is 600-700 and my score is 1005.
