Remarks

SAS SNDP YOGAM College is a Government-aided college located in Konni Pathnamathitta District Kerela. The admission procedure is through online. The major reason for me to prefer this college is that there are many quotas like Sports quota, Art quota., Community quota which helps students who are in the field of Sports, Arts. Get easy admission without considering their plus two marks. Wikipedia is the website which gives detailed information about college while selecting.

Course Curriculum Overview

I choose BBA as my Bachelor degree because completing an MBA is my short term goal. So to understand various knowledge about the business environment so I prefer to do BBA as my graduation. There are 70 talented students in our class. Professors who are teaching us have sufficient qualified like postgraduate, .Net, set and PhD too. Teachers use various techniques like Smart class, Group Discussion etc. The duration period of exam is 3 hours and the minimum mark required to pass is 24 out of 80.

Class Size: 70Course Fees: INR 20000 per year

Placement Experience

Students become eligible for campus placements in 6 semesters after passing all subjects in all semesters including 6 semesters. Companies usually visit for campus placement in college are TATA, PEPSICO, AMAZON etc. The highest average salary package offered by the companies are 6 Lakhs per annum. Almost 85% of students get placed in well-reputed enterprises. After completing my graduation I plan to do an MBA as my master degree.

Fees and Financial Aid

There are no fees for students because it is a government-aided college.

Campus Life

Life of the campus is very ecofriendly. During December month usually, Annual Fest has been conducted. Their availability of a wide variety of books in the library, Usually Annual Sports meet is conducted during November. The social group mainly active in college is NCC and NSS.

Interview Experience

The topics were mainly controversial topics, current affairs etc. After GD, careful screening of application has conducted and after that filling admission details. I mainly read newspapers, management texts like organisational behaviour, Marketing management text etc.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Data Science is a rising field in computer science. It has lots of oppurtunities in todays world and easy compared to other fields, which made me choose data science. The curriculum consist of various computer programming languages including Python, R and so on which are vital in the field of data science. There are also experienced faculties for teaching of the programming languages. I personally felt that lab hours are not adequate and also the available hours are also not properly utitlised by some teachers. At the end of each semester we have exams and results are published soon as the exams are over, no lagging compared to other universitites.

Placement Experience:

we are eligible for placement from the 7th sem. Many famous and small compines vist our college. Infosys, WIPRO, TCS vist our college. But the big companies take only few student. Highest package was 1,00,000. And the average package is around 4,00,000. Almost all students gets placed from the campus .

My Experience at NIT Calicut

Course Curriculum Overview:

I would rate the EEE course curriculum around 8-8.5 /10 in terms of relevance.The curriculum provides strong fundamentals in core electrical engineering subjects and prepares students well for core jobs and higher studies.The course curriculum was revised in 2023, and our batch is the 1st batch under the new curriculum. however, there are still limited coding ,AI and data science subjects in EEE ,which could be improved. Exams are conducted times per semester and are generally moderately difficult.
