Remarks

faculty is very polite to towards doubts and queries the admission process is nothing but just an interview and a written assessment test which anyone can pass and they need minimum 50 marks in clat

i wanted to pursue corporate law and the student to faculty is ratio is not so good as some of them may be busy all the time. Almost all the teachers are assistant professor except our dean but still they teach very good.

Very less people get placed to be more precise the top 5 students get placed in a batch of 60 only tier 3 firms come and still people can't get placed.

Fees and Financial Aid

its very costly based on the things they provide 1.40 lakhs per year and 45000 admission fees in just the first year

a lot of clubs school of law gets to participate in VIRUDHKA a sports fest for all the law colleges including NLU of some regions

Interview Experience

There is placement coordination committee and from the third year onwards you will be elgible to get internsips form this and n 5ht year palcements. currently DE shaw is conduncting there pre placement talk this year 10% 5th years got placemtns and 10% got PPO. and 5% get placed in day 1 after day zero of placemetns. i will also aply for palcements throgh PCC only.

Placement Experience:

This is the biggest weakness of the institution, as there is a Campus Placement Cell but it doesn't have any work to do, because there are very few students in the history of this institution, who were placed from campus. They got the Pay scale of 15,000/- to 50,000/- per month, by the Companies like Gillette, Bajaj, Kotak Mahendra, etc. And some Law Firms. The Students of 9th & 10th Semester ie. The final year of UG degree. Generally, Students from our college opt for Litigation Practice in the High Court & Subordinate Courts. And other students go in the Judiciary after clearing the exam of Civil Judge. Every year almost 4-6 students become Civil Judge. I will certainly go to the Litigation Practice ie Advocacy in The Higher Courts.

i appeared for the CLAT examination to get into the top tier national law universities as it is the dream of every law student. however, I got a decent rank in clat but not enough to secure admission into the top 10 nlus, so my next preference was private colleges. i got admission into various private universities like nirma, upes dehradun, IIL Indore etc, however I chose this college as it is in my hometown. JLU is probably the best university in central India and good for someone who wants to stay in Bhopal. I got admission into JLU on the basis of my CLAT score and even got a scholarship as I secured a rank of 2400. in addition to that, I had to appear for a personal interview and submit the necessary documents to secure admission. for those who haven't appeared for CLAT, they can give the university's own exam called JLUSAT....Read More

Faculty of law, Jagran Lakecity University Review from the 3rd year student
