The College is Good and so is the Management. Because of our elite IFS professors many brands come in for placements. Converting tjose opportunities into realities depends entirely on the student though.

CAT, I scored around 94%ile The Institute was. One of its kind and the options from there on were good and the course fee was comparitively less.

The first three semesters were same as is taught in any B school but we were mostly taught by elite IFS professors, and a few foreign return professors.the course curriculum was Simply put.BRILLIANT.For specialization we had to choose from three options:- Development Management(which I took for I feel for the cause, Enviromental Management(Possibly the most sought after option because of the jobs you get to bag) and Conservation and Livelihood which is a mix of the previous two and the jobs are also pretty good)

Because IIFM is directly under MoEF, the internships are very good both in terms of learning and earning.The stipends generally ranges from 10k to even a whopping 70k.I myself had received 40k for 8 weeks, excluding plush stay arrangements made at District Circuit house. I did my Internship with MoEF. The task I was given was to prepare a District Disaster Management Plan for Guna district in Madhya Pradesh with due consultation with all the Line Departments of District Administration.The DDM plan prepared by me was very well received by the District Collector.

Placements Opportunities are pretty Good, domestic as well as international.Students are given a fare chance to bag a Goooohd job, the rest is on the student. Average package in my year wasaround 5 lakhs.

The classrooms are the places were least of course curriculum is taught altogether we have near about 4 field trips, in which a student gets to visit most of the forests in our country and also gets to tread the less trodden roads of our beautiful country.

The fees was quite quite feasible, I mean including everything our Course fee was 3.5 lakhs, inclusive of hostel fees. The mess is unlike most places, student Runnned.I mean we have a mess committee where students get elected, and we decided the weekly menu.and we also supervised the Mess account.

Yes there now is Stipend scheme in place plus if a student gets selected in IIFM then he becomes eligible for SBI's scholar loan, at quite low interest rates.

The life of IIFM is honestly missed by most of us there are less number of seasons than the number of Grand Scale AWESOME parties we used to have.that is major parties. Bhopal being a student centric city is very affordable for occassional freak outs. Gender ratio was good.and the forest covered glades used to play magic on everybody.be it single or couple.

Superb. I mean, the mess where we used to take our meals looked a lot like that of Hogwarts.The Campus was one of the main reasons I had joined the collge.the campus comprises of 350 acres.it is located on the top a hill, which is entirely of IIFM.Please don't get scared if in early morning you are greeted by a full grown Peacock in full bloom, in the rainy season.or If you see a python crossing the road. They are lovely.a students gets to libe very close to nature. The hostels are very comfortable unlike many other.rooms are spacious.we had all the facilities at our stones throw distance.like a wooden floored badminton ground, or a lawn tennis court.you name the sport and we had the courts and relevant accessories

Alumni network is pretty strong.and one of the reason for that is because we are invited every each Year to a delightful Alumni Meets.and moreover because most of feel the indefatigable urge to visit the Forest, which we used to call home.

6 semesters. Each semester comprising of a mid term and end term.One of the semesters is Summer Internship.

BRILLIANT is the word each one of my numerous faculties at IIFM had some kind of specific expertise, which made their lectures so very amazing.One gets to learn so many stuffs other which is not taught in most B schools like SAS, SPSS, ERdas, Geo-Mapping and Geoinformatics.
