Remarks

I have chosen this college through JOSAA counseling. By appearing to jee mains exam, and qualifying it with a good score. It is one of the best National institutes of technology in India. When we consider the quality of education that the college provides is excellent in all the aspects. Faculty are also good with PhDs in almost best colleges such as the Indian institute of technologies. Hostel and mess are also worth the fees.

Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

The faculty is very supportive and almost all of them got their PhDs from the best universities of India such as the Indian institute of technology. Students: faculty ratio is 14: 1 approximately. The way of teaching is good compared to many institutes. Every sem we have 4 exams, 2 minor of 10 marks each, 1 mid-exam of 30 marks, and 1 end - exam of 50 marks, a total of 100 marks for each subject.

Placement Experience

4

Placements usually occur in the final year of the course in the institute. But the 3rd year students are eligible to attend internships for the companies. Placements are very good at our institute, the branches like computer science and electronics are placed very well. Companies such as Google, Microsoft, Amazon, Flipcart, adobe, L&T take students with the highest package i.e 45lpa and the lowest are 5lpa. Percentages of placements are high at the software side with 90%and lowest at the core side with 50 -60 %.

Fees and Financial Aid

The tuition fee of 60,000 per semester, and if you wish to stay in the hostel then 35,000 hostel fee per year and a 40,000 mess fee per semester. Scholarships are also provided for students with annual income below 1 lakh and for those who have 1lakh to 5lakh as annual income. Students with annual income above 5lakh are not eligible for any scholarship.

Campus Life

4

The campus is very beautiful, with trees all over and a fountain in front of the main office, classroom, and hostel is a bit old but is worth enough of the cost. Mess food is not that good but canteens are available. Annual fests are conducted named Technozion which is a tech-fest and spring spree which is a cultural fest. Plenty of books are available in the library, for every course in the institute and also for researchers. Recently digital boards are equipped in the classrooms. Extracurricular activities are also encouraged in the college for those who are interested. Clubs are organized for students and many students actively participate in these.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Course curriculum is good as of now. But can change a little bit becuase in 4 years we will have 8 sems and 40 subjects. Subjects should be divided in such a way that it should not get burden on the students. In some sems they will just 4 or 3 subjects that will effect other sems by having 7or 8 subjects at a time. That is really tough to clear all subjects at a time that may leave pressure on the students. And another suggestion in teaching methods was therotical class and practical class has to be done parallelly because if theory classes of particular topic has been completed in this week and pratical classes of that particular topic will be executed in some other week lab sessions. That may create confusion in students and there might get forgot what they have learnt in that week. If the theory and practical classes happened parallely they will gain hands on experience on how the things will work and they can understand more better.
