Remarks
The good thing about this college is the faculty. Each and every faculty is very professional in their field. Bad thing to say might be the area of the college, it has not got any such big campus or something, there are just buildings. I got admission to this college through an entrance exam conducted by the IP university which occurs in the month of March or May. They were selecting students with up to 8000 ranks. I chose this college because it was nearby and a friend of mine was also studying there, he gave me the information about the faculty and other rules and regulations. There were several advertisements in the newspaper about New Delhi institute of management, also I went through their website.
Course Curriculum Overview
I chose this course because I wanted to pursue my career in the management field only and BBA is not that tough as well. There were morning and evening shifts in my college, so.it wasn't tough for the faculty to teach us .(3 sections in the morning batch and 3sections of each year in the evening batch). Each section had a maximum attendance of 60students.(60:1) Faculty consisted of asst.professors, professors, and Dr. as well. Each faculty had their own way of teaching and I think they succeeded in their task. Each year had 2 semesters (6months/SEM) and exams were conducted respectively mainly in the months of December and May. The exams used to be of moderate level and passing those were not that easy neither it was so difficult.
Internships Opportunities
The internship opportunities are less compared to the final placement. Only a few companies like Decathlon, banks came. I've got selected in axis bank and my main task was to do sales of debit cards. There used to be informed about all the customers, we need to call them and ask them about their cards and then giving them relevant details about axis bank card(all the service and plans provided by axis bank). The stipend use to depend on our performance. We can get up to 10,000rs p.based on our performance.
Placement Experience
The students can sit for placement from their 4th semester. There were many companies who visited the college for placements (sharekhan , decathlon, Tata, Godrej, BPCL, Byjus, and many more I don't remember the names. The highest package was provided by BPCL with 6lacP.a for the post of asst.manager. The rest were giving an average package of 3-4 lacP.a for various posts like sales manager(decathlon), marketing(Byjus), etc. 60-70% of the students used to get placed. After getting the degree I will pursue my masters from abroad.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fee structure were almost the same each year, there used to be a slight difference of around 5,000 - 7000rs each year. First-year I gave 91,400, then in the second year it came down to 86000 and in the final year, it came to 84,000rs. The college provides scholarships on a merit basis. (being a moderate student I didn't get any) College provides financial assistance to underprivileged students, they also provide them. with free books for their studies. Many companies came for the college placement and I got selected in DECATHLON with a package of 3Lakhs P.a.
Campus Life
The college used to conduct its annual fest 'MANTHAN' in the month of January or the starting the week of February. The Library of my college was pretty awesome. It had all the books and journals related to our course and no one had to go barehanded if needed. Classrooms were big with 2-3 AC per classroom. The classrooms had good looking and well-maintained chairs and smart boards, also had a WiFi connection. Annual sports day was conducted, mostly takes place in jasola sports complex. Apart from sports college had dance, dramatics, speech/debate, singing, and gaming societies as well. Also had an abacus and technical club. There were not any such social groups run by the students.
