Best College with quality education

I was fortunate enough to be a part of this educational institution. Although it was not equivalent to top universities or colleges but reasonable enough for a middle-class family to afford.

The curriculum was very much relevant to the knowledge of hotel operations and how to be a successful hotel employee. The interesting part was Industrial training last semester for 6 months with one of the reputed hotels (Hotel Park Plaza - Gurugram in my case). I was able to grasp valuable information about each department. Those were the most memorable and fruitful days of my life while being on physical on-the-job training.

Placement cell was excellent having tie-up with some renowned names of hotels in industry. Few of them were Park Plaza, Accor hotels, Carlson group of hotels, Radisson, Park-in and many other. If one have talent and groomed personality then no issues in getting shortlisted.

Every major festival celebration and most exciting was fresher's party at a very good venue every year. Every important day was observed with dedication and moreover, we as students use to handle entire operations of such events. Also, there were competitions like culinary competitions and many more.

Very budget-friendly. The semester fee during my tenure ( 2007-2010) was 18000. apart from this, there was an examination fee of 1000 rs per semester. The mode of payment was cash, cheque, and bank account deposit. There were no late fee charges at all if you are depositing the fee within a week of the due date.

I was not required to take a loan for this course as the fee was nominal for me and my family to afford. The fee structure was pocket-friendly and the quality of education was worthful.

There were regular extra-curricular activities organized throughout the year. Sports week is organized once every year. The ratio of boys and girls was 70:30 being 70 for boys. Also, regular debates were organized and I participated multiple times in those.

I didn't opt for the hostel as college was just 06 km away from my home, However, I was able to see hostel facilities which were quite good. There was separate boys and girls hostel close to each other. The facilities were quite good and reasonable.

Alumni network was one place where there was a need for more development. During my tenure, it was not much developed but could be developed in the coming days.

There was a written examination and personal interview once the exam is cleared. The interview was based on personality traits, presence of mind, and problem-solving attitude. It all went well and I was given a letter of admission on the same day. Moreover, I was given a couple of days to submit the semester fee and start academics.

All of the faculty members were easily accessible anytime to discuss any doubt related to academics. Each of them gave ample time to each query and resolved that in the best possible manner. I spent some quality time with the best of the faculty members.
