decent college with a majority of punjabis and haryanvies

Infrastructure could be improved alot and reservations could be decreased.

Exams and all other activities are mainly looked upon by panjab University board. exams can be more on the practical usage side or research driven based on the course that the student has opted for. campus placements are decent after graduation but personally masters course would be more beneficial for anyone in the future.

My college mainly covers bachelor courses and henceforth placement is not the main objective of the facilities. internship are available for masters courses.

4-5 youth festivals by various parties, annual function, other festivals which are important in punjabi culture. you could find something is going on in the college all the time. moreover u can go to other colleges of chandigarh to take part in their functions.

Fees is quite feasible and a middle class family could afford to send their child to this college. my fees is around 23000 per semester which is quite low when compared to other colleges. college shows proper details of all the fees that the students give in a detailed receipt. extra fees of around 2100 is also taken for sikh funds every semester.

I have not opted for any scholarships or education loan but I guess students with some specific reservation can get cut in their college fees.

My college has a clear male majority of around 70-80%. computer, physics, chemistry, biology labs are average and serve the purpose. many sports are played in the campus including volleyball, cricket, basketball, football etc. take on student politics play a major role in shaping a first year's life in the college for rest of his time here.

Senior students are friendly and would help regarding anything to get your vote. bullying is strictly forbidden so seniors tend to behave well.

After filling the forms from the assigned website, students get college recommendation based on their +2 percentage in any of the govt aided colleges in Chandigarh. 3 councilings are held and mainly candidates are preferred from within the UT. reservation also turn out to be useful for getting admission.

Computer science branch of my college consists of roughly 10-15 lecturers with an age group of around 30-55 yo. lecturers are surprisingly helpful and provide proper clarity about the subject. we do get councilings on daily basis which help us know about all the things we need to do for better future.
