More exposure than classroom learning

The overall experience is very good. However as I have mentioned faculties needs to be improved.

MAT, 78 Percentile, It was the best option for that exam category and that score. Also, Amity is one of the top ranked B School with reputations.

I chose retail management as specialization and the curriculum was up-to-date. The university keeps updating the curriculum on a yearly basis. However, there is just one internship allowed during the curriculum.

There are very less companies that came for internship placements. It was almost like the students had to try and get the internships themselves.The importance that was given to the placements was not given to internships.

Placements was very well organized. There is a separate team which works for the placements called corporate resource centre. Job opportunities were also plenty. However the average package was very less compared to market standards.

The university offers around 60-80% merit scholarship. It has educational merit and family income as eligibility criteria.

Campus life is very good in terms of facilities. We had WiFi enabled campus, world class food court and restaurants, bank, hospital etc. Also, there were plenty of corporate events, culturals, sports events.

I stayed in a PG. PG's cost around 5K to 8K in NCR with two times north Indian food. As a south Indian I struggled a lot to get accustomed to the food.

They have a forum but not maintained properly. I sometime receives emails from the network. There are no interactions planned at the state level or at the university campus so far.

Exam structure is very much standard. There are short questions, long questions and case studies. The difficulty level is medium.

I would rate the Faculty to be just above average. There is nothing exceptional or extra-ordinary to mention about the faculties of the B School. They need to improve the faculty mix a lot.
