Remarks
I heard a lot about Amity through my friends, so I knew the kind of college life they offer is not offered by any other college and I also wanted to enjoy these years along with studying. The education standards were good with highly qualified faculty members. I could pass the admission criteria, so I decided to apply for it by apply through it's website online and for that I was cost an application fee of INR 1000.
Course Curriculum Overview
Through the curriculum, I was able to define and analyze principle management concepts and theories in the functional areas of business, identify the impact of emerging and disruptive Information Technologies on business and apply appropriate IT Tools for Business Analytics, and gained decision making skills by applying problem-solving concepts, critical thinking skills and analytical techniques. My faculty here were very intellectual and knew exactly what they were doing and they also were very qualified with years of experience, which they used to share with us.
Placement Experience
My school had an excellent placement cell as here, we had to undergo interaction through Corporate Sessions, Guest Lectures, Live Projects, and Seminars and are therefore trained to make our first step into the corporate world and gain meaningfully employed. The campus was visited by more than 300 top recruiters such as Accenture, Amazon, Genpact, Gartner, Deloitte, IBM, Microsoft, NIIT, Nestle, HP, Dabur, Infosys, etc and the salary package go as high as INR 23 LPA.
Fee Structure And Facilities
My MBA program at ABS cost around INR 11.80 lakh in total, which covered the total tuition charges, facility charges along material cost. Also, here we had the option to avail of scholarship programs offered by the government and the university also offers merit and need-based financial assistances.
Campus Life
My experience of Amity University was pretty good and I'm also satisfied with their education standards. I got a lot of exposure to different kinds of people across the country and also with the international students. There were a lot of extra curricular activities available to take part in, especially as a fresher I was opened up to many opportunities. Ther most popular events here was this inter - Amity sports event called SANGATAN, it included various sports and activities among the departments and the winners got awarded on the final day of the event. The library was wonderful, well maintained, very spacious with thousands of books and internet facility spread over 3 floors. Talking about the classrooms, the classroom and labs were fully equipped with latest technology.
Hostel Facilities
We had In-campus hostels and they were quite close to the lecture halls as well, the maintenance staff and related stuff were also good. Also, we got unlimited electricity, Wi-Fi and Laundry for free of cost. There were a lot of cafeterias in campus where we could get satisfactory food. H-Block was my favorite place in the whole campus, it is the most lively, well known, and popular hangout place for every Amitian. It has Domino's, CCD, Amul, WH. Smith, and what not!
Admission
After being selected on the basis of my admission profile, I was called for a written test to examine my language skills along with my general knowledge which followed a personal interview round with 2 of the faculty members. During the interview round, I was asked basic questions related to my previous studies and myself.
