Remarks :
The college is very good for what it is trying to do because there are many people who have reached hights who have gone from our college.
Course Curriculum Overview :
The kerala University certificate is much valued in india and also recognised internationally. The curriculum is groomed towards well decipline and hord work which will buila a self confidence in students to work hard and devlope their skills. In my case the hotel management department is well equipped and maitained to expose the students to real life situations like cooking, making bed, and other sub divisions int it as well.
Placement Experience :
There many companies like emrites, Princess cruise, holiday inn, Taj etc comes for the recruitment process in the college. the college also have aluminium contacts so that the can also help in finding jobs for the freshers to go after their course.
College Events :
There are lot of management fests because we have many streams in our college like bba, bca, bcom ba, etc many cultural programs are done according to the festivals like onam celebration, Christmas and even other occations. The colage hosts a welcoming ceremony for the first year students called vidyarambham that is a big deal and is celebrated in theonth of August.
Fee Structure And Facilities :
It is quite feasable because other institutions in Kerala which offers hotel management is very expensive (450k-500k) but for aself run college bu fathers and a seminary it is quite feasable. and the fees structure is based on the semester. The principal also helps students who can't pay fees completely to pay it in parts.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
No I haven't received any scholarships or educational loans because my parents saved up for my college tuition.
Campus Life :
Every fecilites are available like computer lab, library, mess hall, cafeteria, canteen store etc. School/college bus is also there for students under 30km radius sports events happen regularly and intercollge matches also happens. there are many competition held in the college by different departments every year.
Hostel Facilities :
No I have no opted for hostel because I was a day schooler but the college provides hostel for boys and girls. The students in the hostel are taken care of by the warden and the principal of our college also stays in the college itself.
Alumni/Alumna :
Yes they are very helpfu because every year there is a alumin meet-up where they help the passout students to get a job if they need one and even give advice for their futer studies as well.
Admission :
It is one of three college in Kerala under kerala University which provide hotel management course at the time the procedure for admission is quick and simple because after application form is filled in the college it self they will give you a date for interview and if passed the classes will commence by July.
Faculty :
They are the best facilities a student could ask for, they are really supportive helpful and even parental figure to some even me. they are all well educated and qualified. they also take time to address poorly performing students and takes time of their own hands and teach them into perfection. the avarage age of all the facilities are between 35 to 65 respectively.
