It's an overall legendary institution and it'll gain back it's valore once people understand the autonomous issue.
Course Curriculum Overview
The college has turned over to an autonomous syllabus and a much practical approach. However majority students are pursuing professional courses side by side and don't wat this to be a mandatory thing in college. However that is one of the reason the graduates of this college will now be better professionals in itself without any other courses taken up.
Placement Experience
For placements, many renowned companies do visit the college and they provide various opportunities to the students in the final year itself. So before graduating the students have job offers.
College Events
The college is culturally diverse and enriched with college events. All year round there are various events organised by different streams and the college is decorated and everyone gets an exposure to volunteer and take part to showcase their extracurricular talents and even more. There is scope for every talent and the college really encourages this.
Fee Structure And Facilities
It is a really feasible fee structure being aa government aided college. However if you get admission in the unaided batch based on your merit, it might feel a little bit expensive. Also the college provides complete breakdown of the fees including library deposits refundable, tution fees, assignment book fees, etc.
Fees and Financial Aid
No I did not opt for any scholarships as the original fees of the college are really low being a government aided college.
Campus Life
There is a huge scope for extracurricular activities like I mentioned earlier and the gender ratio I feel is 60 girls is to 40 boys but it keeps changing as the admission process is on merit. There is a complete diverse population as also many foreign individuals also are a part of this college for their graduation and they love the atmosphere of the college to their own.
Hostel Facilities
I haven't opted for hostels. Although the college provides a nice hostel facility right inside the campus. I don't know how to fill in these 200 characters so I'm just typing it out so that you do understand that I haven't opted for hostels.
Alumni/Alumna
There isn't one as far as I know. Although some students individually take part in providing help to the college as in special labs and halls have been made by some senior students.
Admission
The admission process is a straightforward state level process where you can select your college preferences and based on your merit and reservations you get the college as pee cutoffs. There are no quotas which is a good thing as merit holders get affected and don't get admissions because of that.
Faculty
The faculty is all and all good. Some of the subject professors are really great and they teach innovatively. Most of the professors are aged 30-40 years so they're quite experienced in teaching and provide a practical perspective to the subjects as well.
