Remarks

The college management is quite lazy and the work done here is very slow administratively. Finally the college is good and provides immense opportunities to the students and it is up to the students to finally gain from them.

Course Curriculum Overview

4

There are two class tests conducted per semester. The cgpa of an individual is based on the marks scored in semester as well as ct's. Yes the curriculum and the exam structure is relevant and fair. But it cannot be termed as research driven. The curriculum helps us in gaining industry based knowledge that helps us in securing good campus placements. Yes the institute also organises industrial visits for the students based on their course.

Placement Experience

3.5

The placement of our college is the best aspect among all the colleges affiliated to university. The hod's of different departments also arrangesinternships for 2 and 3 yr students in finest companies. This enhances our placement ratio. Since I am a first year student I am not eligible for internship. The campus placement scenario is fine with nearly 50% of the students gets placed with a good package.

College Events

4

There are several technical, cultural, social, literary clubs in the college that makes the college living. They select their members by organizing quizes and interviews, so that only the individuals who are highly interested gets in. They organizes almost all the events of the college based on their interests. So once a student gets in the club he is highly interested in, he makes a positive move towards his future. They also enhances an individual's personality and get them ready to face the world after on completes his education.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee structure of the college is transparent and feasible. Since it's a government funded institute the fees is quite less as compared to other pvt colleges. No additional charges are taken for the admission. The government also provides scholarship to good students so the the fee burden is less on economically weaker and brighter students.

Fees and Financial Aid

Yes I avail scholarship from the government. The state government provides scholarship to economically weaker and brighter students based on their category. The college provides full support to the students to gain scholarship from the administration and hence don't worry.

Campus Life

2.5

As mentioned earlier, the club's of the college plays a vital role in students life. They are responsible to carry out all the technical, social, literary extracurricular activities. They can provide good support but finally it's the student who has to excel. The gender ratio is 3:2 for m:f. There are no discrimination based on an individual's religion, caste or creed.

Hostel Facilities

3

Yes. The seats in the hostel are limited hence one should ensure to get good marks to get a seat in the hostel. In first year a room is shared by four students. In second year it becomes three and third year it becomes two. The pg's around here are expensive and will require atleast 3000-4000 rupees monthly rent.

Alumni/Alumna

The college has good alumni network. They help us a lot in gaining internships in good companies and good campus placements. The seniors here are also very helpful and guide us for a better future in our respective course of engineering. Together they form a good network and help students individually in case of any difficulty.

Admission

Dr APJ Abdul Kalam Technical University, Lucknow conducts an entrance examination UPSEE, for admission in the technical institutes affiliated to it. It is generally held in the month of June. Results are declared within 15-20 days of exam. Counselling is held in the month of July in nearly four rounds. Admission process is generally completed by 10 August and college starts after 5-6 days. I chose the course as my main purpose to get a technical degree. The college is best among all the colleges affiliated to the University. It is funded by the state government. And in a city like lucknow you can get a proper guidance for your future ahead as the city is a coaching hub of the state.

Faculty

4

The faculty of our college makes us feel that it is a government college. By the way all the teachers here possess phd degree in their respective subjects. The faculty is highly expertised with most of them are around 45-50 yrs in age. Yes they conduct relevant industry experiences and certifications that are highly beneficial to the student. But they are highly subject oriented and don't expect much focus on student from them.

The students also get to apply to a degree that will be available for them in a specific area placed.
