Since A J Institute of Engineering and Technology is affiliated to Visvesvaraya Technological University, college has to follow the Curriculum issued by the University. Along with the Curriculum college gives varies platform to gain knowledge in Technical Skills by organising and Conducting Workshops on recent Trends , Technical talk by Eminent Personalities and Mini Projects.

A J Institute of Engineering and Technology is a 4 year old college and the first batch of Students are coming out this year. about 80% of the Students have placed in various reputed IT and Non-IT Companies. Companies like Infosys, Wipro, IBM, ribbons Communication , Cognizant, TCS have visited our Campus and recruited our Students . More than 85 Companies Visited our Campus for the Placement Drive During 2019-2020.

College Every year Conducts National Techno- Cultural fest Called AJIET AAKAR. fest will be conducted for 2 days to showcase both Cultural and Technical Skills of a student. "Science Fusion "- 1 day Project Expo and Quiz competition will be conducted to 1st and 2nd year PU students every year. Students will visit Near by Schools to create Awareness about Go green, Swacch Bharath etc. each Department regularly conducts Workshops and technical for the Benefit of the Students as well as faculties.

The College follows the fee structure prescribed by the Government of Karnataka for the Students who get Admission through CET. For students who take seat Under management Quota seat will be provided at CET seat Fee only for the meritorious Students.

college don't provide any Scholarship, But it will help the Students to get Scholarship from Various Government Authorities. Students with Pass class Can avail this benefit. Each student can get upto 40,000 Scholarship.

A J Institute of Engineering and Technology located within the City Limit. Students can make use of Cyber center and Gymnasium located within the campus. Students can make use of Yoga classes in the morning and Sports facilities in the evening. students can make use of Different Clubs like Robotics, Radio , Aero . College has a dedicated English Lab to enhance the hold on English Language .

College has a hostel Facilities for Boys and Girls separately within the campus. Each room has Attached bath room and its Twin Sharing. Hostel can accommodate upto 500 Girls and 500 Boys. Hostel has TV room, Washing area and Mess Facilities.

As A J Institute of Engineering and Technology, mangaluru started in the year 2016 i.e.just 4 year old Engineering College and Engineering course is of 4 year duration, the first batch of Students will be graduating this year.

I had an interview with a committee consisting of President and Vice president of the Trust, Principal and Head of the Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering. I have presented my self in the Interview, followed by 15 Mins demo class. Based on the my presentation few question have been asked.

College Has well Experienced and Dedicated Faculties. All the Head of various Departments are having more than 20 years of teaching and reserach experience. all the department have Minimum of 2 faculties with Ph.D degree and all others having Master Degree. All faculties undergo Regular Workshop to keep in touch with the Recent trends. each Department has a faculty Student ratio of 1:18.
