Student's Review On Women Institute Of Technology - [WIT], Dehradun

I chose this college women institute of technology which is in Dehradun because it is the only government College which is for girls and it gives them technical knowledge. The college is funded by many government schemes which are very beneficial for us. We have different seminars winners from course in other things also to increase our soft skills as well as other skills. Hair in my 4 year experience I have learnt a lot a lot of things. We get free coaching for MTech i.e GATE classes and other employability training programs and that too free of cost.

The faculty is the best as they all are qualified from IIT and NIT. The teaching style is easily understood by us they've usually focus on concepts rather than giving us writing work. Particularly in CS department HOD MISS Rekha Raani gives 100% so that we do good enough field. in final year project teachers help us a lot they help us in developing a research paper under the guidance we made a prototype of our project. There is a lot to learn from these teachers 4 years are not enough.

Three internships are compulsory a 4 year program course. We have to submit a record to the college and give a report about what are internship was it is up to us we are choosing a stipend internship on on stipend internship.last year college sent girls to IIT Jamshedpur for the internship fair the learnt various new technologies like robotics, IoT etc.their final year project was based on the knowledge day game in their internship period so internships are very much beneficial as per our college has instructed.

the college invites companies in our college and everybody gets to sit in this placement only 4th year of all branches can attend the placement drive. we have a placement coordinator which is a teacher who looks after placement cell and from every class two girls are representing placement coordinator from class. The team of placement coordinator and girls maintain the record of placements and the call to companies to the. We have a pool campus where we can go another campus is for placement cell informs about the placement and then we go there. Also the seniors which are placed in some companies give us the reference and then we go to their company and represent our college.

Campus life is very happening everyday there are some events going in sub branches for air is there are some programs conducted. Extra curricular activities are of various kind like there are some in technical field like technical quiz technical debates and all and there are also cultural activities like dance music rap battle you group singing group dancing. compass to use our college is organising College cultural fest and it is for participating in it new new talent of the students are being seen. Also we go to other colleges for participation and win exciting prizes over there. Campus life and college people are fun.

Sorry I was not eligible for any scholarship but there are a lot of scholarship program running in college. There is a PNB bank near by the college I have friends have taken loan from there and they submit draft to the bank. also there are various scholarships for minorities and for the students who are intelligent but cannot afford the college fees.

The campus infrastructure is not that because only BTech course is there for girls the equipments are complete the size of library is sufficient for the students who are studying their and there is free Wi-Fi there are all kind of sports facilities available including badminton, volleyball etc.

We do not have a college hostel which is provided directly by the college moreover we have tie ups with some college hostels and some private hostels where girls live according to their convenience. I live in hostel which is near by my college that is brother hostel for girls it is the best college hostel in entire Dehradun. It has two girls in a room service and a mess it's infrastructure is awesome. It's my third year living there. And I suggest all my juniors to live there it has a gym and also provide healthy three time meal with snacks time. the colleges in sudhowala so mostly girls who want to live independently get their PG in sudhowala or premnagar these are cheap in price and affordable to some while hostel charges more.
