Course Curriculum Overview

Course curriculum is very interesting and covers all the aspects students need to develop in the current globalisation. It is not the best around my area but it has a quite built up reputation .

Internships Opportunities

I didn't intern any companies yet .But many of the students claim that the internship in the college is very good and they also claim that the internship the college provided was helpful .

Placement Experience

There are abundant job opportunities in our college . It has good record of placements . Our college management managed to place 75% of students in companies last year.

College Events

When come to events such as technical and cultural events our college doesn't show much interest in these aspects. All we have is 3 day fest once a year . Our college is not so good in entertaining it's students.

Fees and Financial Aid

Our college only offers scholarship provided by state and central governments. I have yet to see it's own scholarship providence .Loan is not available in our college as of my knowledge.

Exam Structure

Exam structure in our college is designed as per the rules of NBA and JNTU . I think our college follows the guidelines dictated by NBA and JNTU .Exams are always a headache for students no matter how friendly a college wants to conduct.

Faculty

Faculty in the college is well experienced in their respective subjects and are very cooperative to the students . Most of the faculty lack english skills but it was never a problem for me.

Decent college with good facilities

Placement Experience:

From 4th year 1st semester, the students become eligible for campus placements. About 10-15 companies visited our college with minimum 3 lpa. And only 30% of students are placed in the campus placement. Companies like virtuza, movate, cognizant, hcl visited our campus for placement. The highest package was 4.5 lpa and lowest was 2.8 . My plans after getting degree is work in a reputed mnc.

Course Curriculum Overview:

the course curriculum of our college runs under the guidance of JNTU where all the fundamentals such as DSA ,program,data base and CN also core math are given in this college divides the conceptual,lessons in 5 units .for each unit we have submit assignment unit test and also an ALP which is concentrated on learning ,mechanisam which help student revise the concept in class itself.In terms of real world the curriculum builds the theoritical, knowledge but somewhat limited exposure where students should have get internships for an industry level experience or else atleast a entry level jobs help the students to learn as well.Area of improvement include more hands- on project works and more interactive teaching methods Like case studies and problem ,based, learning. Exams are regularly for 2 mid term for semester and one end semester exam.the difficulty level is moderate and manageable with consistent and study and focusing more on understanding concepts rather than rote learning

Placement Experience:

From the 5th semester itself students are eligible for placement drives if they pay for the placement training classes , internship drives start from 5th semester and training classes go on for students every week , from 7th semester drives on different job roles start and the placed percentage of students right now is about 30 to 40 percent and drives are still going on but correct training and correct opportunities more needs to be provided

Course Curriculum Overview:

I am very Passionate about Computer Science. So I joined Information Technology which is the same as CSE. Information technology mostly offers the same opportunities as CSE in VNRVJIET. So, I preferred IT in VNRVJIET. In VNRVJIET, Hyderabad faculty: student ratio is approx 1:40 which is considered as Average ratio. Most of the Faculty are PHD Graduates but there are less number of Professors. Mostly there are Assistant Professors whose Teaching Methodology is average to Good but not rated as Better in terms of Teaching. Professors are good at Teaching but Some Assistant Professors are not as good as we expected. There are mostly newly joined PHD faculty members were there who will teach in a slow manner. Every 5-6 months we have Semester Exams which are mostly easy to pass if we have somewhat knowledge of the subject.

I couldnt choose any other colleges with computer science branch becuase i got low rank. I got nearly 70k rank in st category. Review of our college

As a ews student when I applied in EAMCET counselling I got this college in first phase and I didn't want to change the college in other phases and I joined in this college with a good hope. The admission process is simple the student should qualify EAMCET now EAPCET exam conducted by the telangana government and they need to secure a good rank in the exam and they can participate in counseling based on cutoff the government allocate the student in this college and also the student can join via management quota but they didn't get any fee reimbursement from the government. Coming to the eligibility any student who have done his intermediate in MPC stream can write EAPCET entrance exam and they can get a seat in engineering colleges as they qualified in exam . The basic qualification marks in the exam are 40. It means the student should get atleast 40 marks out of 160 to get pass in EAPCET however the sc and st category students need not to secure this marks they have an exception from qualification marks....Read More
