Remarks

Discipline : This is the one word which fitted perfectly to describe the whole college and if i am not wrong, due to discipline only i could see the success of every single student.

Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

Definitely was beneficial for me because as others i was also a raw student paased out from school and was not aware at all about university level, This life taught me all the things which i could learn from the college and could implement further in my life like: Discipline, basic knowledge about programming along with practical sessions which really helped me to make more comfortable while i was applying for the jobs as a fresher. Best part i learnt from this college how we should be habitual to do research by our self, taught how we should always ready to take challenges and play with new technical stuffs and i think this is the key thing which impact my life in a very good way. I learnt from my mentors that how we should always ready for help to others without any expectations with in yourself which is really great lesson i have learnt in my life so far.

Placement Experience

5

Placement was decent, I am an example :) As per my knowledge pretty much every student from my batch got place in all multinational companies and we all were very satisfied from our self the way we learnt the things and prepare our self for the industry with the help of college efforts. They were used to trained us before companies visits to the campus for the placement. From internship perspective we all student did our internships from the big MNC's respective to our courses.

College Events

5

Freshers Day, Tech festival, Sports event, All the events held in college and the whole university colleges used to invite. Management by our college was extremely good and appreciable. Other campuses always eager to attend the festivals/event in our

Fee Structure And Facilities

Was decent/feasible fee structure and was also supportive if any family or student was not able to pay. They have different fee structures according to different financial conditions of the students and their families. Also were providing the fee breakdown if someone can't pay the big amount at once without any interest.

Fees and Financial Aid

I opted the scholar ship by providing my district level / state level achievements for my primarily sports games.

Campus Life

4.5

I would gender ratio was 50-50 % male and female. Usually consistently organizing the events for debates, Group discussions, Seminars on the recent topics on the current affairs and some competitive festivals with in campus. We usually do freshers parties, some cultural programs etc, and were fantastic in organizing all of those in such a great manner i would say.

Hostel Facilities

5

Yes, i opted for hostel, all rooms used to maintain and cleaned all the time, We have enough rooms in our hostel and never realized to go out and look for PG. If students sometime by mistake broken down the things or messed up with the things which was very rare then they always got fixed in a very short duration.

Alumni/Alumna

I have a very interesting and excellent experience with my seniors. They all were living with us in the hostel and were very helpful in all aspects in term of guide us for future in all the parts of the life not just in studies.

Admission

Through national level Entrance exam which is (AIEEE, All India Engineering Entrance Examination), Got the call from institute for further interview and then visited there for finalization about admission by submission of documents. They walked through all the facilities they had in the campus regarding the in all aspects(Sports activities, Festive event plans, Auditoriums and all).

Faculty

5

There were 7 different lecturers for my course and all were PhD's or Post graduated with an average age of 35 - 45. Pretty much everybody has their own written book for their respective subject which we were used to follow. Best part was i never felt during my graduation that they are trying to finish the syllabus asap due to short of time. They all were very managed with respect of time and were well trained to teach and guide the students and solve their queries in a simplest way which was very easy to understand. Most of them hold the industry experience and respective certifications as well.

Placement Experience:

As a BE Computer Science student at Chandigarh University, placements are decent but depend a lot on individual skills. Students become eligible for campus placements from the 6th semester, and most of the placement process happens in the 7th and 8th semesters. Many companies visit the campus every year like Microsoft, Amazon, Cognizant, Capgemini, TCS, Infosys, Wipro and some startups as well. There are a good number of offers made, especially from mass recruiters like TCS, Infosys and Cognizant. The highest package claimed by the university goes very high, even above 40 LPA, but those are for a very small number of students. Realistically, the average package for CSE students is around 5 to 7 LPA. Mass recruiters usually offer packages between 3 to 5 LPA. Around 70 to 80 percent of students get placed if they are consistent with coding and preparation. Those who depend only on college studies may find it harder due to high competition. The university also provides training for aptitude, coding tests and interviews which helps in preparation. After completing my degree, my plan is to get placed in a good product based company. At the same time, I am also focusing on improving my coding skills and working on projects so that I can aim for better opportunities or even higher studies if needed.

I exactly don't know but after 4 th or 5 th students are eligible for internship and placements. Generally in 7th semester 90 percent students grab their internship. Many companies visit on campus placement like Capgemini, Amazon, Infosys, TCS, Microsoft and many more. Highest package offered is 64 LPA by Microsoft and lowest was 4 LPA. Almost 90 percent students get placed by 8th semister. I also want to go to a MAANG company after getting my degree.

In Chandigarh University you are being elligible to sit in the placement from the end of the 6th semester . A large no. of companies visit the unversity daily for all type of departments talking about my department , companies like Zopasmart , JTG , EY , JP Morgan , TCS , Cognizant , Deloite and many other companies came for the college comapnies with ann average comapny selected upto 10 -12 students . Till now the highest package offered is 37 LPA for the role of software developer . Talking about the no. of students placed from the total students in the batch i would say less then 30% percent of the total students have been placed from the university campus placements till now . Curently i am also focusing on the campus placements to get a start to know more about the corporate world , If i am unable to get a campus placement the i ll go for offline interviews and spends 4 to 5 years in the field after that i ll start my own buisness .
