Remarks

After 10th, I had always cherished the passion I had for art and craft but at the same time I chose to make things that are useful. I wanted to channelise my creativity into something functional as a contribution to society. I chose this course to shape my creativity into a more elaborate and meaningful knowledge.

Course Curriculum Overview

5

Everything is good and best but it could be most better. Some student are not good nature. They are unawair about there future.they must be punished aur college have to take strict action on them.kkw

Internships Opportunities

Interned with Chumbak pvt ltd with a stipend of 8000 per month for two month.

College Events

4.5

The college hosts a student festival every year in the month of February called the spectrum and is solely for the students of that very campus. However students from other college are also allowed to participate in the events. It’s a three day programme including dance, music, fashion show, beat boxing, slam poetry and many more such competitions. A similar event is also organised in one campus rotation wise each year amongst the all 14 campuses of NIFT called Converge. Where all NIFT campuses compete against each other as teams.

Fees and Financial Aid

I haven’t personally availed any loans but my friends have. An Education loan is provided by Union bank of India the NIFT branch which is situated right beside the college campus. The loan also gives the students an amount of 10-15 thousand per month to buy college stationeries as there are no prescribed books and the ones needed are available in the library.

Campus Life

4.5

The college campus is not extremely huge but is one filled with quirky wall murals and graffiti to spark your creative fire. There is a gym inside the campus. There are two blocks of girls hostel inside the campus as well. The library has access to most resources including subscriptions of fashion forecasting editions like promostyl and wgsn that can cost lakhs. There are many labs pertaining to each department such as knitting lab, welding workshop, textile lab and even stitching labs. However the gem is the Mac lab that has Mac systems where you can learn 3D simulation of CAD designs. The WiFi accessible from any corner inside the campus and is really fast.

Hostel Facilities

4

Hostel is only available for first and second year girl (bachelors) and first year girls (masters). There is one cloaca for junior girls and one block for seniors so that there is no case of ragging. There is no hostel for boys. The hostel rooms have two options, three bed sharing and two bed sharing. In two bed sharing, there are two rooms connected with a passage making one huge room. The three sharing room is comparatively smaller and has less space. Each student gets a chair, a table and a bed cot. There is an Attached washroom in each room. Meals are not included. There is no mess card facility. You can buy meals as per your wish and choices.

Course Curriculum Overview:

We have really packed timings. We also have a lot of chances. Like an exchange program, internships and many chances to act or work in actual projects. I really hope they could teach us animation in the course and it would really help if the clubs are active. For every exam we have to come up with something new totally out of the box. sometimes we also have to work overtime.

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for placements after their graduation project in the 8th semester which is the 4th year. A good number of companies around 8-10 come for the campus placements. The minimum package starts from 6 lakhs and can go up to 20 lakhs per annum. Almost 70% of the students get an on campus placement. Some get an off campus placement as well. My plans after getting the degree is to pursue masters in my field.

All subject professors are well qualified and experienced faculty and very friendly approach and guide us till we complete our course with good knowledge and give us best guidance for career in future and exams are conducted on mentioned time with very strict rules. It was little difficult but the teaching method helped to go through exams and get gud marks. Negative is only the extra charged v have to spend for projects and other rather than our yearly fee. Rest all gud.
