Remarks

Always loved machines and wanted to do mechanical engineering. SBMP gave me an opportunity to directly pursue mechanical engineering directly after my 10th. It is one of the most reputed Diploma colleges in Mumbai and also India.

Course Curriculum Overview

The course almost prepares you for the 2nd year of the degree and when you go into the degree you have more technical and on ground knowledge than other students who have done science and then taken up degree engineering. The faculty teaches in a super easy manner and also clears doubts at any point of time you want them to do.

Class Size: 63Course Fees: INR 9010 per year

College Events

There are cultural events and various competitions happening almost regularly. That is almost every week there are students participating in new exciting events. This also makes the bonding between the branches stronger. People also get to learn new things.

Campus Life

The sports ground is available. Wi-fi is also available. The library is huge with 2 parts of digital and reading rooms. There are various types of labs counting there are at least 15 of different labs with the most latest equipment. The whole college is centrally air-conditioned.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Has to say the curriculum doesn't prepares you well enough for the real world application or for academic pursuits they doesn't provide enough. The frequency of exams is good and difficulty is moderate there should be more industrial engagement to the course more practical knowledge or industrial knowledge has to be given.

Pros and cons of studying in private colleges.

Placement Experience:

From the semester 6th, students were eligible for applying placements (diploma mandatory rules), companies like TATA Steel, MotherSon Automotive Technologies, and GE Aviation, Visited and the estimated number of offers made was around 20, the highest package was offered by MotherSons Automotive Technologies from 18K per month and the average packages wiggle between 10-12K a month. Around 20% of students were successfully placed and 15% were able to pass the 6th semester to work for the companies. After my diploma, I'll continue my studies by applying for B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering.

Placement Experience:

From the sixth semester, students become eligible for campus placements. Various types of companies have come to our college, like Schneider, L & T, Tata Power, etc. The highest package offered is 4.5 lakhs per annum, which is offered by Schneider Electric. The average annual salary is 2.7 lakhs. Almost 30% of students are placed at my college. My plan after getting my degree is to do some business.

Best memories of my College

Placement Experience:

From 5Th semester students become eligible for placement because our diploma course is of 3 years only. I visited lot of companies even big companies like Wipro, TCS , Cognizant etc. Highest package provided to me was 25k and lowest package is 15k. Almost 30% of students got placement from our college in that year. I have a lot of plans after getting the degree but I cannot persue due to financial problem.

Remarks:

Overall AI-ARKP is an EXCELLENT institute, no doubt. There are continuous feedback programs, excellent faculty (mostly), good basic facilities, a calm surrounding environment, and more. AI-ARKP is a better choice also because here comparatively well-dressed ladies come to study. Other institutes, well their ladies apparently don't have a sense of how to dress correctly and how not to cause societal corruption. The institute is ought to take strict actions against students who cheat and fraud during exams. This will elevate the nobility status of the entire organization. Finally, many changes will probably happen in the institute and with this do, we hope that the negatives will be wiped out and the positives will be further strengthened. With the Permission of All?h, The Mighty and Majestic. Oh yeah, there's Masjid in the Degree building! & Lower your gaze where it needs to be lowered.

Best Infrastructure College at Affordable Fees

Apart from Shri Bhagubhai Mafatlal Polytechnic(SBMP), I applied into Bhausaheb vartak college of polytechnic, VJTI but I chose this college since it has best infrastructure and teaching faculty with good syllabus and this college is autonomous college so it has plus point. I didn't get into VJTI because of cutoff only but this got me into SBMP. Admission is done through MSBTE portal. To get into this college one should have passed 10th boards with around 75% to be placed in the first round of admission. Admission procedure is very simple and easy....Read More

My college experience

I selected this college and not other's as this is a government aided college so fees is less. And it's in the top 3 diploma college's. Admission criteria for this course was 60+% in SSC. It's been allotted by DTE and 3 lists are been conducted to get on the first list you will need around 85-90% marks. And you can get into this course and college after your 10th boards or 12th boards, with 12th boards and ITI course you can get into direct second year. Admission process was not very lengthy but it will take a day as to submit all the docs and feed your own data in their portal. And that's it submit the first demand draft as your 1st year fees. Review about mechanical engineering

Profound and very recognized college for a diploma in engineering. The syllabus is very much up-to-date and the teachers are fantastic. The university building is very nice and new. All the assignments are very logical and helpful. They give us projects to use our technical knowledge practically. So that we can understand the difference between theoretical and practical life. They also provide us with 6 months of implant training in industries so that we get some experience in industries about their working and procedure.
