Entrance Preview

I had given a CET exam in which I scored about 83. This course was chosen by me because of my love for science and computers. I got an admission into the college via a minority quota.

Course Curriculum Overview

4

Sometimes the curriculum set is nice enough to get involved into the activities while sometimes it's boring based on different semesters of studying in the college.

Internships Opportunities

There have been many companies coming around like TCS, L&T, Diebold , Book. MyShow and many more. I haven't experienced any internship yet so I can't comment much about that.

Placement Experience

3.5

The placements offered as pretty good and my college offers a 100% placement when the student is eligible for it. The packages offered are average and maybe enough for starters too.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee structure is obviously expensive as any other engineering college might have. My current fee structure includes Rs 99986/- .Though many economically backward students can apply for TFWS scheme if they are eligible for it.

Campus Life

3.5

There are regular workshops conducted from students of different societies like for robotics, different software's etc. The gender ratio is pretty much the same but slightly more for boys as anyone would expect from an engineering college.

Alumni/Alumna

The alumni/seniors are pretty helpful in many terms like studies and have fun when we go for industrial visits too. They provide us with how to cope up with the stress of an engineering student.

Exam Structure

The exam structure is pretty decent and they are conducted properly and effectively and on time (wish they could leave us early so we could chit chat more with our friends).

Faculty

3.5

The faculty of the college is pretty knowledgeable then faculties of many other colleges (as per my friends from other colleges describe) but each and every college has some faculty members which make us feel they are from a different planet.

Placement Experience:

The campus placement is decent in the college as compare to other colleges of the city . many companies visited the college every year to hire the skillful engineers from the college and offer them a good amount of package. The option of the offcampus palcement is also there for the students of the other colleges.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Soo ever since kid i was interested in bikes this interest was all for me to take this course , my father is very bike enthusiast and it came down to me , i could easily take mechanical and other engineering cause these are common courses which involves automobile , but since i wanted to follow my passion , i wanted to do specialization in automobile itself and DPCOE was offering this course with great facilities and knowledge providing us a path in this lane of career in this field. According to me curriculum prepares us quite well as they conduct workshop which are relevant to outside world where we'll be working. If there were more practical workshops for us to work on would be great cause automobile engineering is all about practicals rather than theoroticals Professor should try teaching in physical part rather than taking lectures and explaining the concept by just words

Placement Experience:

Yes there is placement cell of STES which is no different than other tier 3 engineering colleges offering a tier 3 average package depending on who is the recruiter. Students become eligible for campus from 3rd year of their degree. Highest package is something around 55 lakhs offered to a computer engineering student, and average is just like I said for a tier 3 college 5-6 lakhs(above or below). Almost everyone gets placed in the company but some might not.
