Remarks

This University is 2nd best in Haryana after NIT Kurukshetra. The mechanical branch of JCB UST, YMCA faridabad is equivalent as NIT Kurukshetra. Also, the studies and placement of Mechanical branch is even better than NIT Kurukshetra. This really drove me to take admission in this college.

Course Curriculum Overview

The course curriculum is well updated to the outer world. Industry oriented and faculties are also well-updated, close to the industry point-of-view. The college planned industrial visits every week to adapt students for industry.

Placement Experience

The placements & job opportunities are very good in the college and every year almost 60% of the students are placed in mechanical branch. The alumni networking is best as they formed a society named "MOB- Meet Old Buddies" which consists of our college alumni network and they provide job opportunities for the students.

There are various Technical, Cultural, Management festivals such as Natraja, Vividha, SAE, Microbird and every year a cultural technical festivals are organised in the month of April. The whole clubs and fests are managed by the college students.

My admission process was smooth and I didn't face any difficulty in that. I gave an exam JEE MAINS and on basis of ranks I got YMCA and my desired field that is Computer Engineering with specialization in data science. Application forms and date of admission and other necessary information is given on the website timely. JC Bose University, YMCA -- best college

The eligibility of our college is having to jee rank along with 75% in boards. Then we have to register in HSTES counseling which is for Haryana's' govt colleges and then maintain the priority list of branches and colleges in sequence. Reservation helps a lot in the first two counseling rounds but the third and fourth counseling rounds are open counseling rounds for the left seats. For btech , one need to first clear the jee mains entrance examination, after clearing for counselling process you need to participate in HSTES counseling. You can visit HSTES website and fill the application form there itself and apply for different colleges and branches and will be sorted as per your rank n given schedule on that website itself again .
