Remarks

The college falls under punjab university which is very renowned. Teaching staff is very good and infrastructure is great. And its in a great city Chandigarh. The hostel is in the college so it is convenient and you get all the facilites.

Course Curriculum Overview

The syllabus is updated and you can opt for internship or research in last semester. The faculty is great and very supportive, encourages student participation in co-curriculum activites. There is also a cricket academy for women in college.

Placement Experience

Placement drives happen in the month of january where banks like icici, yes bank, kapsons, ht media, flipkart etc come for the drive and students from other colleges are allowed to participate. The placement drive I would say gives employment to a few only.

College Events

They is a cultural fest that helds in the month of feburary and many more events throughout the year. Participation is great and there is footing of 600-800 in college and double that on fests and flash mobs.

Infrastructure is very nice we have 4 computer labs, a big library and one more in making, there are 3 basement halls, classes have projectors and smart boards, we have labs for fashion designing, cosmetology, biology, physics, chemistry, IT.

Hostel Facilities

Hostel rooms are well designed. You get your own bed, table and chair, cupboard and luggage space. All rooms have fan and cooler and a floor is for the students who opt for AC's so there are AC rooms as well and all rooms have nice and neat curtains

About college placement, there is a placement cell which provides the information about the companies in 5th sem. We have to fill a form where we agree to join the placement cell opportunity when companies arrive. As so many big companies arrive the chances of success is less. Course Curriculum Overview:

Relevance of course is all theory but if we talk of it for real world it's not much that. Course should be more focused towards skill builder and not reading only. No practical hand experience over computer applications that are actually needed like excel advance or formulas. BBA generally offers various specialisation in the last year but they only have HR and if anybody wants to go for other options like marketing or finance which are basic for all they try to get them enrolled in HR ONLY. THEY HAVE REFUSED TO BRING MARKETING OR FINANCE FACULTY FOR STUDENTS.

Placement Experience:

From 5th Semester Students Are Eligible For Placements. Companies Like Deloitte, KPMG, Accenture, ICICI Bank, HDFC Bank And IBM. All The Placement Info Is On The Website Itself But The Requirement To Sit in Placements Is Atleast 75% Score In All Of The Sems Combined. My Score Was Not Above 75 So I'm Going For Off Campus Jobs.
