It was the best college that I could get at that given time. I tried for getting addmission in other colleges also but I found SRM to be the best for me at that time. I also had a seat at NIIMS Mumbai but I was not getting the preferred branch in that college and in SRM, I got the branch so I went for it.

The course curriculum is good. The facilities and the facilities are not what you expect when you pay 3,50,000. They are pretty bad. Like the classrooms are not properly ventilated plus there is no AC in the classroom (which you naturally expect when you pay such a huge amount every single year.). Seriously it's not what we expect from a college like SRM. The academic curriculum is good but we have too many exams in one single semester. And the fact that they don't give any vacations even on the prestigious festivals holi, diwali and dusshera really makes me sad (all we get is a holiday a day before Diwali and one day holiday for dusshera. From past 2 years they have stopped giving holiday on holi)

Many companies visit SRM for the placement session. As of the year 2019, a total of 650+ companies came for placement and the placement record of SRM was hundred percent. Basically the placement is good in SRM but all what you have to do is just maintain a good CGPA that is in any case above 7 and if you get above 8 then you can be pretty sure to be eligible for all the companies that come for placement. The basic criteria for the companies for placement is 60-60-60 % for 10th-12th and college degree score. And it varies from company to company.

Well SRM has 2 events, one is called Aaruush which is held in the month of September. Aaruush is the Techno-Management fest of SRM and it's pretty great. The next fest happens in the month of March and is called Milan and it is the cultural fest of SRMist. The fest happens on pretty big scale and we also have a huge crowd that turns up for these fests. Many celebrities from around the globe come and perform for these fests. The 4 days of both the fests are really great to attend.

If you are the department topper then you get concession in your fees which can range from 20% to 100%. The scholarships are pretty good but you have to make sure to catch the deadline and fill for it and a full fees reduction for an year is pretty good, trust me.

Well, I think this is the only good thing about SRM. The campus is pretty good, like the University Building is simply the place to be when you visit there and they have made the surrounding area of the campus in a very nice way and to add to it there is also a "SRM lake" right in front of the campus gate. Also the 3 floor library is really attractive and the auditorium is the biggest auditorium in Asia made without using any poles support in between.

The rooms are good and can be better. The food is shit and for a fact I've known it can't get any better. Average rental per year for hostels is 1 lakh. According to me living outside is pretty good idea instead of staying in the hostels as unlike many other colleges SRM has a great surrounding area with many good places to live in.
