Remarks

College is cheap. And my family was in a financial crises.I'm in general category and also cbse revaluation results were late. so didn't got education loan. And every reason can't be 200 character long.

Course Curriculum Overview

The university is trying to implement new curriculum. but there are not enough good faculties. The worst part is they removed one of most important subject from the course and added Machine learning. and ml is not a subject to be learned in 6 months. They also don't have good faculties to teach. practicals are basically done on notebooks. Attendance is compulsory so can't even go for internships, or learn from other sources. Basically it's not a College it's a school.

Placement Experience

There are a lot of companies that visit our college but the salary packages are very low compared to the living cost of the city. Zensar, TCS, Wipro, are the most frequent recruiters. byjus gave 12 lkh package for marketing profile to the seniors.

Tech fest is not that good. there is nothing much apart from that. sports days are fun but there is not much of a facility.

The absolute truth about SIRT

Placement Experience:

From 7th semester students will be getting placement notification, there is an app called pod AI to monitor your placement companies and how much you applied, and your eligibility for company, if you are from electrical branch you will recieve polycab , EXL , a1 fence , solar square . There was about 10 companies visited but absolutely 0 opportunity in IT companies if you are from electrical branch. Average branch package is 2.4 lacks per annum About 50% of students got placed My plans after degree is to go for off campus opportunity

Campus Pl start from the 7th semester with good companies visiting for core branches popular recruiters are tafe eichers, CG power, Disa. Cognizant and Infosys for the IT roles also. Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum followed by the college is slightly old in comparision to iits and nits but it is better than most of the remaining colleges. But the curriculum could be improved.The curriculum is based on more theoretical approach and less practical approach for some branches.The teaching methodology is good . Teachers use smart boards if they need. The frequency of the exams and msts are good but they also include demo which makes it hectic.

OCT Bhopal is outstanding!!

Placement Experience:

Highesht package so far has been of 34 lakhs per annum and average though is 6 LPA. This average is considering all departments as for pur department it is of 10 LPA. Wipro, Amazon, Tisco and Mindtree are some companies out of lets say 50 odd which shows up every year. My plan is to do an MBA program and i am preparing for CAT too.
