Remarks

I would say that the fees system is not very good. Since its a private college as your rank goes higher you have to pay high fees to get a desired branch which is little unfair. But overall the facilities are good and also the placement are very good.

Yes, they do give academics the most priority and attendance is a critical criteria in sitting for exams, you can not write any exam without 75 per cent of attendance, and many assignments are given

Placement Experience

Most of the students get placed, but mainly in software and consultancy. You have to work very hard to get placements in core companies because people are more, and seats are less. Most of the people get placed in one or another company, but you have to be academically good.

College Events

Campus life is fine. Very fewer events are organized and they charge students only for these events. There are no extracurricular activities. Seniors are helpful. Canteens are also there for spending leisure time. Location is safe

Is VIT worth it

Placement Experience:

Placements in VIT UNIVERSITY is very good the average package is 8 lakhs and the Highest may go upto 1 crore every year.There is a separate placement cell in VIT chennai and they give you placement training from start of the third year. Many multinational companies like google, microsoft etc comes to VIT to pick students for their company. Almost 98 percent of the students gets places in VIT. After my degree I choose to sit for placements.

SRMIST is superb in all sense!!

I applied at PDEU, Gandhinagar and SRMIST and both colleges admissions were almost done but since my family is from Chennai, we al decided to stay close to home atleast for UG. Entrance is their for SRM University and one has to clear that to get admission here.
