It is one of the famous private universities in India. The campus is also very huge. It has almost all the facilities, a student want. The campus contains a variety of food shops, gym, saloon, all sports facility, shopping complex, general store, stationery shops etc. Talking about academics, the labs of the college are one of the best. Research work is also done at a very good level. Other than this, the faculty is good and experienced. They use different methods to teach students. Classrooms are big and have projectors. B.tech is one of the major and most famous courses in the college. Its the reason why the college is famous. If we talk about hostels, yes the hostels are a bit expensive, but they are perfect and spacious enough for a student. The mess food, however, is not so good. Although, the student life is great in the college. Two major fests, AARUUSH and MILAN, are one of the biggest technical and cultural fest in India, respectively.

It is very good and modern. All the new things are covered in the syllabus. The good thing is that many big companies come to our campus for placements every year. This includes Amazon, Intel, Samsung, Apple, Facebook, Bosch and many more. So placements are not a worry if you are good in academics. The plus point of the college is that it is near to 100's of industries which includes big name like Ford, Daimler, Mahindra, Renault and Nissan, Apollo, etc. So you can easily do your internships in one of these.

They are good because every student gets ample opportunities to land a job. There is a catch though. It depends on your percentage and department though. Having a percentage of 80 and above lets, you sit for 95% of companies. And having a percentage over 70 gives you 70% of companies. Plus if you have computer science background then don't worry you get most opportunities. They are good because the whole process is carried out in a professional and systematic approach. I Salary range- There is a job for each student based on his Calibre. As the saying goes. If you have it in you, no one can take it from you. Jobs start from 3 lacs up to 34 lacs. Jobs above 10 lacs are scarce but at the end of the day, you are in SRM. There were about 90% of jobs in the range of 5–10 lacs if you remove the mass placement.

Campus Life is excellent. There are two major fests in this college. Both are very famous in India. AARUUSH for technical domain and MILAN for cultural. Around 72000 people attended the fest last year. Various workshops, competitions and events are organised in AARUUSH. Gaming, food stalls are also there. While in MILAN famous celebrities come every year to entertain students. Both these events are held in the T.P Ganesan auditorium which is the largest in India and also on the open grounds. Other than this, various events keep happening in our college.
