Remarks

I heard the BMM faculty was good. The college was in the top 10 colleges for BMM in Mumbai. Also, may extracurricular activities are held throughout the year. Also Hinduja college I a reputed college.

Course Curriculum Overview

The syllabus was updated in the current year. Many guest lectures are arranged by industry experts. We have three teachers who are permanent and 3 are visiting faculty. All of them are well versed in the subjects.

Class Size: 64Course Fees: INR 18000 per year

Internships Opportunities

Teenagers Startup, Content Writing Intern, ?250 per article.

Placement Experience

Our college do have a placement department but I don't have much knowledge about that. Our alumni network is pretty strong though. Also the Rotaract club has placement facilities too. many sessions are arranged by the entrepreneur cell.

College Events

We have various clubs in college. Panaah is our college fest. We have NSS, NCC TedX and Rotaract Club. Along with this each course conducts there own fest's like Finvester, Bankyaan, Presentation club.

We have basic facilities like the library and labs. But the college lacks campus. It's a single building located near the station with garages and other shops around which makes it difficult to have a college life.

College for students who wanna Hustle

Course Curriculum Overview:

the timings are great for students who wanna work while studying, but that only starts in the SY because in FY there are lectures from 10 to 1, that will give youll time to enjoy as a student, where as in SY n TY lectures will be from 7 to 9

Course Curriculum Overview:

I will rate 6 out of 10 because the syllabus it has old information. The special aspect of the curriculum is about branding, strategy use to make strong brand in the market. The area for improvement in these curriculum is to provide student the proper software for technical or practical subjects. (like photoshop, indesign, etc.)

I chose this course because I want to be in the film industry. I want to become an actor. This course helps us to get aware of all the media industries. Be it films or television or even radio. Now, there are even more fields such as Public Relations and Event Management. There is an almost equal number of girls and boys. The faculty have industry experience and are well-spoken. They help us in each and every way possible. The use of presentations and modules is common. The learning process is fun and easy. The examinations are conducted in a semester pattern. There are a total of 6 semesters that are conducted on time. The syllabus covers a wide range of topics such as communication, films, photography, etc.

Placement Experience:

Form third year students become eligible for campus placement. Many reputed companies like times of India hindustan times visited our college and got various students selected based on their caliber. The average package here is a around 5-10 Lakh per annum. Only those students who are talented enough for any post get selected for particular job. I'm planning to do a internship in popular media House.

Remarks:

KJ Somaiya College is a very huge college and has a perfect system of everything. Proud to be a student of this college. They have extra curricular activities cultural forum fests and much more. They also have outdoor Games, athlete ground, hostels, 7 to 8 canteens. The teaching system is quite good they have compulsory 75% of attendance.

For BMS CET is mandatory and a good piece of scores are required. No one can be in real trouble here once the scores are as per the required cut-offs. Around 240 seats are there in BMS but Hinduja being the top 10 ranked college, students have to be in top 2000 rankers to get admission in BMS here....Read More

I had confirmed admission from HR and Jai Hind but Hinduja being a part of Hinduja Trust, I had more faith in them. My life in KPB Hinduja College of Commerce.

So as i want to do BCA and mumbai university not provide this course so i did BCA from ymcou so basically i had not much options in colleges. Any students are englible, who have percentage of 65 and above, 12th marksheet 10th marksheet,leaving certificate, gap certificate(if any). The students can easily access the application form via the college offical website , the application fees is 150 INR and the date to apply can be found on the offical website.
