Student's Review On Maharaja Sayajirao University Of Baroda - [MSU], Vadodara

MSU Baroda is one of the most prestigious universities in Gujarat. Every year it attracts cream students due to its long legacy in providing quality education , well qualified and experienced faculty members, extra curricular activities, culture and best Placement opportunities .

Course curriculum is very much simillier to iits and nits for most departments. course curriculum is much wider than GATE exam which is a great benefit. There is one internal examination of 20 marks and end SEM exam of 80 marks. And 50 marks for practical and viva. Faculties are very much qualified and experienced to fulfill your thirst of knowledge.They have connections in industries to refer you there If not selected through placement.

I was selected in Siemens as engineering intern but now it is not possible due to lockdown.

Placement are good overall . Placements of computer science, Mechanical, Chemical amazing. Last year 100% placement for mechanical branch and nearly 100% for cs, chemical and electrical. I know specific for electrical ABB, Relience , Adani port, Adani Power, torrent Power, MG motors , Siemens, Atlas Copco and 20+ other companies came for campus placement.

College is in the centre of the Vadodara city unlike other colleges. Every essential thing you can think of will we there within 500m. You have easy access to many movie theatre and clubs coz they are very near by. There is palace of Maharaja Sayajirao Gaekwad within 1 km. Railway station is 3 km from college. MSU has sports pavilion for all students . There you can find nearly all sports ,gym etc. There is nice canteen and a coffee shop in campus .which is very popular among students for coffee and Maggie. 3 national level events are organised here . "PRERNA" is asia's largest event for physically disabled and is supported by UNESCO. "Paramarsh" is non-technical event and "footprints" is Technical event.

TFWS scholarship in which 100% of tuition fees is weived off. And every other scholarships provided by govt. Of Gujarat. It is like government college . Here fees are very less . Hostel and fees are also very less . MYSY scholarship - students avail 25k scholarship in first year and than 12k+ scholarship for upcoming all years.

It is like a heritage site . You feel like it is a palace of king . Old culture construction but very big lushy campus with very well equipped labs , classrooms , auditorium, ground etc. Solar panels are installed which powers whole college . We have Siemens centre of excellence inside campus for professional courses . NCC Gujarat head office is also inside our campus. Library is also very good.

Rent for pg ranges between (1500-3000) per month. College is in residential area so large no. Of pg are available. Hostels are also very big mostly every one who are willing to stay there get admitted. Capacity of hostel is very large.
