Remarks

It is near to my house, it has a great campus, a great surrounding, my many friends enrolled in the same College, I heard about it on social media,It has decent placements, it has great staff which I got to know from my seniors.

Course Curriculum Overview

Course curriculum is good as prescribed by Mumbai University, Academics environment is also good at Viva College, there are many good things in the campus.The faculties here are well experienced & knowledgeable enough.

Course Fees: INR 244000 per year

Placement Experience

More than 45% of the students got internships in companies like Capgemini, TCS, Infosys, and LTI. The college has good infrastructure and facilities that attracts companies too. About 35% of students got placed in our course. The highest salary package offered is 7 LPA, and the lowest salary package offered is somewhere around 3 LPA.

College Events

Campus Life is awesome, It has such a huge campus with high -tall buildings,It has fully equipped laboratories in all the departments.There are various committees in the college like NSS, Student Council, women Development Cell,etc. There are many events which are organized throughout the year.

Library is great here, I personally like it very very much, to be precise to support the knowledge needs of the students, the college have fully computerized library with more than 11110 books, international journals and e-journals and several national journals as well,The library has 5 sections like reading hall,digital library, refernce section, etc.Also it has fully updated labs in the college.

Placement Experience:

From 7th Sem, students are eligible for placements and undergo placement training. Many companies has visited so far but the big ones are Godrej, BEL, Framatome, etc. The highest package for mechanical was 7.5 LPA and the avg package was around 5 LPA with a majority of job roles as GET. Almost 95% students are placed. I'm preparing for GATE ME for higher studies

The moderate college of engineering in pune , with moderate fees and good environment.

Placement Experience:

the placement structure of this college is mainly on the tech branches. the placement varies betweem 3 to 5 lakhs on average, annually but if are choosing core branches like mechanical, civil or electrical or entc then you can expect low from it. College do offers insdustry obesrvation and siteseeing tours. These activities are for core branch students. the companies visited in college are TCS, WIPRO, INFOSYS, for IT sector and core branches companies like BOSCH, ULTRATECH CEMENT, TATA TECHNOLOGIES , do visit for campus recruitment. The highest package was placed by a student of 45 lakhs in 2022 and another student of 22 lakhs. the percentage of placement for 2024 batch was about 70% to 72% for overall placement record. after getting degree i will persue the job in pune and stay updated on ladakh civil job vacancies.

SIT is best engineering college of Pune!!

Placement Experience:

If one wants direct placements in comapnies such as Wipro, Cognizant, Hexaware, TCS and many more, SIT is the place. Highest is still unbeatable as one student in 2023 got a paycheck of 50 lakhs per annum from SIT. Even the average is over 10 lakhs now as most students are placed through SIT placements cell.

The faculty is the worst part about the college

Our college facilities is not good. The faculty is the worst part about the college. They do not take classes instead they burden us with lots and lots of homework and assignment. They want us to perform very well in the exam but they won't bother themselves to take classes. Even if they take class, they teaching is not proper wave.
