Remarks

At present, IMU Vizag offers B.Tech in Naval Architecture and Ocean Engineering at the undergraduate level and M.Tech, MBA at the postgraduate level.B.Tech course is of 4 years duration with an intake capacity of 40 students and M.Tech is of 2 years duration with an intake of 20 seats in each stream.

Course Curriculum Overview

The teachers here are very interactive with the students, they keep the class as lively as possible, they are rarely boring. All of them are very well-qualified and experienced staff members. None of them is partial they treat us all equally

The placement cell trains us very well for the placements prior to the campus drive, they train us in the aptitude test and mock interviews, almost everyone here gets placed except the one with really low CGPAs or those who want to pursue higher studies.

Our college supports extracurricular activities just like academics. Sports and cultural activities are organized by the college, celebrated in a grand manner. The labs are well-equipped with all the necessary equipment.

The hostel feels like home, the rooms are very spacious even though we are on a sharing basis. The mess is clean and hygienic and the food is amazing and nutritious. We have a great space for relaxing and studying.

There was an entrance exam IMUCET. After getting a rank, we had to apply for councelling in wich campus or what course we want.And then pay an advan fee of 10000 which is non refundable if our seat in any IMU campus or IMU affiliated campus is confirmed.Then there is a requirement of a medical certificate.After all that our admission is done.
