Normally opportunities for your placements in 4th year and they start placing people who are good enough. They have some criteria for giving their test. If you are not placed then you have to seek off placement depending upon your contact in the industry. otherwise, you can do your post-graduation.

At present, IMU Vizag offers B.Tech in Naval Architecture and Ocean Engineering at the undergraduate level and M.Tech, MBA at the postgraduate level.B.Tech course is of 4 years duration with an intake capacity of 40 students and M.Tech is of 2 years duration with an intake of 20 seats in each stream.

I wrote IMU-CET, an entrance exam exclusive for marine engineering. Also, I score 70% in my boards the minimum is only 60%. After the entrance exam, the merit list is announced, and you are called for counselling. There is a medical approval needed regarding your fitness, which is also done in the college itself.

I wrote the exclusive entrance exam known as the IMU-CET, based on my score and ranking I had to choose this college for my B.tech degree. You are called for counselling after the test results come out. The minimum mark to obtain in your boards is 60%.

To get the admission in this college the eligibility is to have at least 60% marks in the stream of PCM and 50% marks in english in your class 10+2 results. There are only 40 seats in this course. The process is to fill an online application form to register yourself then you will have to appear for an online Common Entrance Test (CET). Then you will have to register yourself for counselling.
