Remarks

That's because i felt i would be good if i do my UG from a known university and even though the campus is different we get a degree from BIT mesra which is a big thing and also because there was no other good university in my city to do BCA and i didn't want to go out from my city.

Course Curriculum Overview

The faculty is not that great.I feel they need to take quality teachers and not just anyone. The mid sem is very easy, it's of 25 marks, 5 questions 5 marks. We get a printed copy of the syllabus from the college itself.

Class Size: 50Course Fees: INR 300000 per year

Placement Experience

There are a few companies like wipro and TCS which come for BCA students in BIT lalpur.SAP company came for BCA and they had a condition that only students above 7 cgpa can sit for the interview. Wipro was offering a job with a condition that we will have to do mtech with the job.

College Events

There is no campus life in BIT lalpur. The dean is a very rude man.He doesn't even let the students organize a small event in the campus. There are no cultural fests in the college. There are 4-5 societies in the college which try their best to organize an event for the students.

Good for if you are looking for study and little funs

There are two timing shifts of exam morning and afternoon shift , mba students may have 2 exams in one day . The curriculum does not prepares you for real world application's. Need some internships and industrial exposure through college

Course Curriculum Overview:

I joined this course because of market demand and also have interest in computers. Faculty: Student = 60:7 Supportive faculty also councelling about our future. Most of the teacher uses projector and smart classes. Exam is easy compared to Btech CSE. 4-5 years previous year question papers are provided. If you only study the pyq then you can get upto 7.0 sgpa in exams.

Sarala Birla University is a nice choice for UG courses

Placement Experience:

When I went to college's orientation program, they showed a data in which more than 90% students placed last year. I don't know the exact but there were only few students last year but from our batch, the number of students increased hugely. So, I guess there will be an decline in placement ratio. According to college and some seniors, some big companies visited in college and they hire meritious students. Average package is around 6L which is decent.

Placements are really good for my department. From Semester 4 th you all are ready to get placed as company visits in an even semester. The companies visited are DeloitteUsi, Capgemini, Tcs, Wipro, EY, and Byjus many more...you just need to be attentive. The highest package till now is 10 lpa and the average is 3 lpa And there are placement coordinators who help you in guidance. Almost 75 to 80 percent gets placed with low to average packages.

ABOUT BBA BCA COURSE STRUCTURE

In jharkhand, BIT MESRA is the only college that have a goodwill and reputation that's why I have choose this college over other colleges and I have not given any kind of other exam for any other college . I only filled a form of BIT MESRA and got admission I was not interested in any other colleges. If you have to take admission in BBA you need to score 80+ marks to get in 1st merit list and if you scored 85+ you will get direct admission.
