Remarks

I heard that the college is very good and the placement drive is also very good. My course is CSE ( Computer Science and Engineering ), and every year 100% students from this course gets placed very well in good companies.

Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

My course syllabus is quite elaborated and updated. The faculties are very good and are very helpful. They are ready to help even at night and gives reply to my messages about doubt almost immediately.

Internships Opportunities

I haven't applied to any internships this year, but I will surely apply the next year.

Placement Experience

4.5

Many companies visited this year, including dell and hp like big companies. About 100% of the CSE students got placed in different companies. The placement process is very good and the placement department also works hard to give students a chance to be placed in their dream companies. The alumni network is also good and provide job referrals to us. Some of my seniors are placed in amazon and facebook and are settled in the US, so they provide valuable tips to us about cracking the interview.

College Events

4.5

Our college has different programmes almost everyday, around the clock. Be it coding competition, hackathons or fashion competitions, the college is always organising something. These are very big and different other colleges also come to participate in these. But, the annual fest is held at around December, which is called KIIT Fest. It is a three day fest and has all kinds of festivals and competitions held. Different music and cinema personalities come here and light up the mood.

Fees and Financial Aid

Our college provides scholarships to the first 1000 ranked students in the KIITEEE exam, a sum of Rs 10000 per semester. Also, the college offers a scholarship to those students above 90% marks in 12th board and a rank within 1000, a lump sum amount of Rs 1000.

Campus Life

4.5

The campus has different grounds for different sports.Cricket, football, hockey, badminton, tennis everything is facilitated here.A stable wifi connection is always present which offers about 2- 3 gb per student each day. The central library is huge and is present in a separate building consisting of 4 floors. The book collection is awesome here and very helpful for us. The labs are air conditioned and the equipments are quite up to date.

Hostel Facilities

3.5

My hostel room is quite large and is triple sharing. That means that I live with my two roommates. The hostel facility is easily available and the mess is also good. The mess offers good food and is hygienic.

Placement Experience:

the placement is also not that much great. they are very few companies TCS and Infosys are the mass recuriter here . The core companies are close to null . So you have to go to only to the IT companies that to at a very low package . My students work for as low as 2.5 lac per annum . This year almost everybody was between 3lac to 10lac bracket . The highest on campus package are about 25 lac . Not more than that most of time. and the average package is almost about 3-4 lac per annum . The percentage of the students placed is also really bad . Most of the students have to hurdle by himself.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I choose this course because at first I was interested to automobile engineering but I didn't got it from other college so I preffered this mechanical engineering. It is a very though course as it seems. And there was 1:7 for faculty and student ratio. Faculties were highly qualified and some did PhD and m. Tech and other are fresher. The teaching skill differ person to person. The thermodynamics faculty was very excellent. In every year there was 2 semester and it is a little difficult. And before semester there was internal and viva.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Padmanava College of engineering is coming under Biju Patnaik University of Technology (BPUT , odisha). As there is always a myth about private colleges that they help in cheating but from my experience padmanava College is strictly against cheating and rather it supports quality of education. If you are a hard working student you will pass the exam very easily.
