Remarks
As my college is the largest college in the Kanyakumari district and is situated in a wonderful natural environment, I would like to choose St.Xavier's Catholic College of Engineering. It has the largest library and auditorium.
Course Curriculum Overview
My college is under Anna University, so it follows Anna University's syllabus. Thus it has enough course curriculum for the engineering students. The Industrial visits to the study related company are arranged for one or two days in each semester.
Placement Experience
The Training and Placement Cell offers us extensive training in career planning, logical reasoning, verbal skills, resume writing, interview readiness, and group discussion preparation. It maintains good relations with employment cell companies and is regularly accessible in major cities of our country. The top job offering companies including Infosys, TCS, and Wipro.
College Events
My college conducts Tech Fest each and every year. The cultural events like College Day, Sports Day, and some other events were conducted in my college. Those days are precious days for me. Also, the inauguration ceremony was conducted by each department for welcoming the fresher students.
Campus Life
The campus infrastructure is too good. The college provides free Wi-fi facilities. It has the largest library and auditorium when compares to other colleges in the Kanyakumari district. It also has excellent sports facilities for both indoor and outdoor games.
Hostel Facilities
In the hostel, a maximum of three students will have opted in a single room. For both U.G and P.G, the same hostel will be allocated. It contains a lot of rooms. Both Vegetarian and Non-Vegetarian foods are available based on the schedule.
