Remarks

It has bright future. I always want to do this course. More jobs in hospitality industry so it is pretty easy to get a good job in their. So i gave the entrance exam and get the chance to join this institute

Course Curriculum Overview

Yes i did my industrial training from the park hotel Kolkata. It was 4 months training. I cover the four core depertment of the hotel. I.e housekeeping, front office, kitchen, food & beverage service.

Course Fees: INR 375000 per year

College Events

It was great. Almost every hotel company came to our college. I got 2jobs in capmus interview. One is green park vizag and another one is store supervisor at puma india. But in this situation the joining date will shift a bit because of corona pandemic.

Placement Experience:

Most of students get more than 2 placements. They placement is over in 1 Month and now a lot of students are being placed in Europe, USA, Mauritius with a very good package. They are also placing students in Retails, FMCG, Entertainment and other areas. But i think the fee that we pay, we can get back only in third year when students can go for Internship, as they can earn more than 6-7 Lakhs and palcements is just too good.

NSHM Hotel and Tourism Management, Durgapur - A Place to Study

Placement Experience:

Students are given placements before the final year. A lot of companies come with Oberoi, Taj, Marriott and others. International Placements is done through companies who conduct online interviews, but i dont know what paramters they ask in interview. But placements is 100%. Placements in India is around 4LPA while International it is more than 12-15 LPA

After giving NCHMCT JEE 2024 i lost hope that I cannot clear the exam and applied to IIHM and gave PI there. I was selected in IIHM and when NCHM results were declared i cleared that too surprisingly with an AIR 500. Then there were many process. IHM Kolkata an experience

In order to take admission in any IHM we need to give JEE exam for Hotel Managment and depending on your rank they allow you to choose the college of your liking. E.g My All india rank was 803 which allowed me to choose from top seven colloges of IHM. I opted for Kolkata as it was close to my hometown.
