Remarks

Many placements had happened since last 5 years. And the reputation of the college is also very good. As per I can doing COMPUTER SCIENCE course in B.E. field, the fee is somewhat lower than compared to other colleges. And many companies visits in college to give placement to the students.

Course Curriculum Overview

All the courses are up to the date and the facilitiea are also very good. The computer lab is also very big and the quality of the computers is also very good and also they are updated as per the new technology. The teachers (lectures) are also adaptive, informative and communicative.In short they are good. So, the academics are good.Many facilities are provided by the management and and check them out in every week, as they are working properly or not.

Many companies such as Facebook, byjus, tissot, bestpears, TCS etc, visits our college for giving placements to the final year students.Almost 90% of the students get the placements in which the maximum package is of 12 lakhs and the average package is of 3 lakhs.However,we can say that the placements in our college is very good compared to the other colleges.

College Events

Many technical feasts and cultural feasts happened in the college.They are organized in a very big manner. Many or almost 90%of the students take part in festival management, tech feast and cultural programs.

Fees and Financial Aid

I have heard about a education loan scheme named Vidhya-Lakshmi yojana in which the candidate could apply for a loan for moreover 37 banks. And the candidate can easily get loan upto 10 lakhs as per the norms. The scheme Vidhya Lakshmi provide the loan within 10 days and provide up-to 4 lakhs when you study in the country and if you are going to abroad then the scheme provides up-to 10 lakes.

Campus Life

the college campus is built up in around 50 acrees, and the sportsground is also very big and facilated with all the equipments and accessories. Also Wi-Fi facility is also available for the students. The library of the college contains thousands of book. The computer lab is also very big and have somewhat 70 computers.

The absolute truth about SIRT

Placement Experience:

From 7th semester students will be getting placement notification, there is an app called pod AI to monitor your placement companies and how much you applied, and your eligibility for company, if you are from electrical branch you will recieve polycab , EXL , a1 fence , solar square . There was about 10 companies visited but absolutely 0 opportunity in IT companies if you are from electrical branch. Average branch package is 2.4 lacks per annum About 50% of students got placed My plans after degree is to go for off campus opportunity

Campus Pl start from the 7th semester with good companies visiting for core branches popular recruiters are tafe eichers, CG power, Disa. Cognizant and Infosys for the IT roles also. Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum followed by the college is slightly old in comparision to iits and nits but it is better than most of the remaining colleges. But the curriculum could be improved.The curriculum is based on more theoretical approach and less practical approach for some branches.The teaching methodology is good . Teachers use smart boards if they need. The frequency of the exams and msts are good but they also include demo which makes it hectic.

OCT Bhopal is outstanding!!

Placement Experience:

Highesht package so far has been of 34 lakhs per annum and average though is 6 LPA. This average is considering all departments as for pur department it is of 10 LPA. Wipro, Amazon, Tisco and Mindtree are some companies out of lets say 50 odd which shows up every year. My plan is to do an MBA program and i am preparing for CAT too.
