Entrance Preview

GATE-2010, 92.23 percentile, college is good and transportation is easy. Very senior faculty. Good reputation.

Internships Opportunities

GATE stipend from ministry of higher education was received yearly once at a time. College management is very good in helping to apply for MHRD stipend.

Placement Experience

No Electrical background company came to college for placement but there was placements in the college for BTech And MTech students.

College Events

Many technical fests were conducted in colleges, many sports activities for the students with facilities. I was not much involved in the fest as I was MTech and only 3day college.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Fee for each semester is 27, 500 rupees. And 10500 for condonation fee and some exam fee, final semester project fee. Totally about 1, 25, 000 rupees. Whichay have some deviation's.

Fees and Financial Aid

I was familiar with the MHRD stipend for gate rankers and state government rembersment schemes. I was not familiar with any other scholarship provided.

Alumni/Alumna

Our college seniors helped me a lot while in colleges and all my alumni are in contact and helping each other. Most good alumni network I had in my life.

Exam Structure

External exams conducted once in semester and internal exams were conducted twice for each semester in the first year. In second year we have Comprehensive viva and project work.

Faculty

Very experienced Faculty, good environment for learning. Nice facility of sports activities. Easy transportation facility. Good library. Management is good.

Course Curriculum Overview:

We have many laboratories for practical knowledge. And also they providing other practical labs for us from other course related. They have installed a seperate computer lab or other elective labs for different branches. And also provide different assistants for every laboratories. They teach us well . Make us to make connections as per the circuit provided. They also teach us how they came into work in the real time life. Mainly they teach us how they are applicable to our real life. And also they preserve the projects and make juniors motivate and make them to learn.

The students can apply for internships from 3rd year, 2nd sem or from the end of 3rd year, 1st sem. Some of the notable companies that have visited the college were accenture, cognizant, tcs. I am planning to pursue masters after my degree completion over here. The highest package as per my knowledge is nearly 19 lakh. Most of the students are assured to get placed in bulk.

My view of Kmit

Placement Experience:

from 3 year 2 semester onwards the students can attend to placements without any active backlogs. The campies visited are drawin box,service now, real page,epam etc. the highest package is 44 lpa and average is 5 lpa. 45 per students have placed.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Actually my father was private employee from electrical background so that i choose the Electrical and Electronics branch. So this branch was learned me technically a lot. The course was very difficult but need a guts to chase this.Here practical knowledge also very important from basics and need teaching very neatly to explain such hard topics like mechanism and electronics too.We wrote our exam into twice at 6months by dividing 1-1 and 1-2 etc.The exam time was 3 hours its a sufficient time to write a student with focus and knowledge on topics.
