Remarks

The story which is prevalent with most of the students, it's the rank which decides the college for you. Similar was the case with me as well. Depending on last year rank criteria, I filed for the college and course.

Course Curriculum Overview

Course: The course is extensive enough which brief you about the following process: 1. Fluid Course with Chemical Engineering 2. Microbiology Course 3. Fermentation process 4. Thermodynamics Faculty: The faculty will be supportive enough but don't be mistaken by the fact that they will approach you for anything. It's you, who has to take responsibility of each and everything.

Class Size: 12Course Fees: INR 27000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

1. At my time, fees were the lowest among all the IITs 2. Scholarship: As the course was Dual Degree if you had pointers above 8 or you have qualified GATE then you were entitled to 96000 scholarship amount (8000 per month). 3. Campus Jobs: No core companies come for the course but quite many companies open up which are for all branches. Obviously, you won't enjoy the privilege of CS, Electronics, MNC, but yeah if you put in some extra efforts, you will score the job by Day 3 or 4 during campus placements.

Campus Life

Awesome is the word to describe that. If anyone sees to the fact that girls and boys are not allowed in each other hostels, then you can consider that as a loophole, otherwise, the beauty of the college will mesmerise you. Though the hostel rooms are not big enough in the initial few days, later the room will be sufficient enough to accommodate 10 of your friends.

Almost 70 percent of our college students get placed. But most of them go in the marketing department instead of going in a tech field.. The Heighest package of our college is around 8LPA and Average Package is about 1.5 LPA.

My Opinion about GL BAJAJ INSTITUTE OF TECHNOLOGY AND MANAGEMENT

Placement Experience:

The student are available for placement from the starting of the 4th year of 7th semester. There's are lot of decent companies that come to our college like TCS, INFOSYS, MICROSOFT, CAPGEMINI etc The highest placement of my college is about 58 lpa and the average placement of my college is about 7.5lpa The 90 percentage of the students who participated in the placement are being placed rest are gone for their higher studies. My planned after getting my degree is to grab a decent package from the college and started my career.

Reality of Galgotias University

Placement Experience:

The students are eligible for placements from the 6th semester. Recently Infosys visited our college, however the average and highest package was not yet declared but we have heard rumours that the highest package is somewhat around 30 LPA. The percentage of students getting placement is around 65%. My plans after getting this degree is applying for external placements as well.

Unfiltered review and reality of My College

Course Curriculum Overview:

This criteria for choosing the college was because of placements. The curriculum Is outdated and not as per the industry requirements. In 1st year we are taught only one language and which is of no use.... That is C. But in other universities, students are taught languages like java, C++, python in their 1st year. Teachers are good. I have no issues with them but I have issues with its curriculum. Exam are taken so much which are according to me good as they prepare as for university exams but as I consider placement point of view so students do not have enough time to prepare for their placements, learning new skills as we are supposed to study for exams otherwise we will have to attend extra exams and classes and will lose internal marks. So having many exams have both benefits and drawbacks.

The rate of my branch was quite high because I am in CSE AIML and future is totally depends on it that's why i select this branch. The College provide 100 percent to you for makeing you a winning horse in it sector but you will be initiated from your side.the most bad things is In first normal classess are going on like 12 and that is not good.some extra curricular activities is not happen in this college .they should be focus on this points. So entry in IIT BHU was through JEE ADVANCE. I gave the examination and got an All India Rank(AIR) of 7533. Then I had Josaa counselling where I had to select colleges according to my priorities. So one of the many colleges I filled was IIT BHU(4 Year B.TECH Chemical Branch). The distribution of colleges is purely based on your ranks. Higher rankers will be prefferd above you. One thing I would like to improve in the admission process is that we should be given proper instructions before filling the josaa counseling....Read More
