Remarks

Management was very good. The staff wqs very good and supportive. Even I love the managenent of the college but somehow in terms of money and poor higher authority orders our college was a bit behind as compare to other college. But must say whaterver it is. This was the best college and best educational institute I have ever come across. The staff was the back bone of this college.

Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

The curriculum was more of on the theory side and less on prectcle side. The syllabus was old and not many professionals are there to teach the subjects properly but they are fair to the point. It's like you pay is what you get. So no complaints about the syllabus. As far as grooming and job life is a concern. I would say the curriculum has never helped me to deal with real-life situations and do well in my field of civil engineering. Yes, you can apply theory at some point but most of the time in civil engineering you need to have some practical skills.

Placement Experience

1

The placement was negligible as our college was not well known and reputed. so we have not experienced any big names or companies in college. As far as I know, there were only 2 companies are there for recruitment. So yeah placement cell was almost absent in our college. and also there are no internships (because of less popularity and reputation).

College Events

3.5

A technical festival was organized every year. Apart from that. Annual day celebration, Every Indian festival celebration, Independence day, Tech fest. These celebrations are very good and supportive as students are very energetic in nature so. we have contributed and promoted this celebration.

Fee Structure And Facilities

For a person like me (who belongs to the open category) it very expensive. I had to take an education loan for this course. (And I am still paying in installments because still I am not stable enough to find a good job after graduating from college). Fees are accepted in cash/demand draft/cheque also. About the transparency. I would say yes. they give you the bifurcations of the salary but I dont think it's feasible enough to charge that much amount for this degree. And for the students who come under the cast system. are the luckiest ones because for them the fees were very less as compared to students of the open category.

Fees and Financial Aid

Yes, our college does offer scholarships to students whose percentage was very good (above 80% approx). And the students who belong to any minority. the got the chance to get the scholership from the college.

Campus Life

2.5

The gender ratio was very poor. almost in the class of 100, you will find 10 girls its almost about ( 1:10) i.e. out of 10 students only one will be the girl. Sports was very well supported by the college. there were many tournaments arranged with the nearby colleges. Almost every sport was played in the college. Cricket, Volleyball, Kabbadi, Badminton, etc are some of the main sports played and liked by the college and students.

Alumni/Alumna

College seniors are supportive and knowledgeable and always ready to help thier juniors. There was no ragging and respect is given to every student. Network and bonding were very strong with them and they even support now also.

Admission

The merit list was the main reason for taking admission And I was the 2nd on the merit list. I have also done a diploma in civil engineering so this is also the main reson for getting a degree in the same field. The admission process was not the best but. still manageable because the location at which this college is situated is maybe the reson for the poor admission process. After confirmation in the merit list, we have to visit the college for collection of form which was cost around 2000 rs. back then. After the filling and submission of the form, we have to pay the fees at the cashier counter.

Faculty

5

The number of lecturers per day was 9. i. e. 5 lectures for 1st half and another 4 lectures for 2nd half. Talking about the staff. The staff was helping, supportive, and learning at the same time. so yeah there are some king of misconceptions about getting knowledge was difficult. I can not rate the faculty be I can say that it could be better and should be improved very much for the fact they are charging a very large amount of money.
