Great place to learn and live

It should carry out more curricular activities and focus on making students aware about internships and careerr paths.

Going by year it helps you learn from basic fundamentals to advanced topics. In first year course contains subjects from various fields which gives basic knowledge of things every engineer should know. Second year onward curriculum is focused on the selected stream.

Placements have improved by far since the time I graduated. For last 3 years, number of placements have been really good.

They do carry out tech-fest once a year, which includes games ranging from virtual reality, board games to outdoor sports(volleyball competition). Also, groups participate in this fest and perform something of their liking. It is 2 day event where students from other colleges also visit.

Fees is in the average range. As per my knowledge, they used to accept cheque, demand draft but it must have been improved and multiple modes must be available as of now. One thing is sure that fee structure is tranparent, you will know the exact breakups of amount.

I took education loan from SBI and at that time the process was really irritating. As they don't tell you all the requirements at start and availability of person who issues the loan was also a big problem I faced.

For computer science and information technology streams the gender ratio was 55F-45M. We did not have any student parties as such but we did have freshers and farewell party. They have zero tolerance policy against ragging. Also, there's no gender, racial, religion parciality.

Alumni connections are always helpful but then it also depends on how active you are in maintaining the connections.

After 12th I took the PET entrance exam and after the results. After the results, counselling session was held after some days and candidates were given a slot according to the marks. In counselling, candidates were given the choices of colleges and streams according to the marks.

Like any other institutions, some are excellent, some are good and some should be re-evaluated. But all in all, faculties are friendly and easy to approach for any query. When faculties do not have time for themselves they always find time to give guidance and answers all queries, specially during the projects.
