My College Days

It was overall an overwhelming experience. An gateway to a new life. New world and a fantastic campus and hostel life. It will nurture whole life.

It was my entry to professional world. I was from a background studied with regional language, grown up in nicluqr family. It had made me smart, made capable of studying English as medium, cope up with different environment away from home and made a road to go ahead.

We do had a very good placement cell head by some hod lecturer, who gets connected to different organisations and conducts campus interview.

It was very much feasible because it was one of the best hotel management colleges under govt of India tourism ministry. Being it was govt institute- fees structure was very much affordable and transperant. It was quite less compared to other renouned private hotel management institutes.

I had opted for a education loan from Allahabad bank. I approached to allahabad bank branch, shown all my testimonial and my offer letter of the institution, and then they had approved for educational loan.

It was a unity in diversity, asmall india in side our institution. It was having presence of almost all states from our country. Regarding gender ration it was 80:20 of male and female respectively. It was a great place we had live, still miss that days.

I had opted for hotel through councelling. During councelling at new Delhi, after college selection I had been directed to Institute kiosk and there was a option of choosing campus hostel. Alternatively institute used to provide accommodation in local area as well.

There is lots of allumni association - mostly named as ignites. There are 54 institutions all over India - each institutions have their own allumni accociation. Apart from that there are many allumni association in social networks.

I had given NCHMCT joint entrance examination and had all India rank of 3015. I had got an invitation to attend councelling at Delhi, attached councelling at new Delhi subrata roy auditorium, and from options I had like ihm Chennai, goa, gurdaspur etc, I choose IHM BBSR.

We do had large panel of lecturers, starting with principal, vice principal, hod of four main subject - food production, food and beverage service, housekeeping and front office. Apart from that we do had support lecture for communication, frenchproject management etc.
