A college worth spending time

Remarks :

Average and can be improved in arts and sports. The institution can also give more scholarships.

Course Curriculum Overview :

Teachers were good and I learnt to do better in my subject with the help of internal discussion and classes. They trained students for in-house events and also for placements Curriculum was done in a such a way to make students understand the real world.

Placement Experience :

Placements were good with 50% placement. Many companies including telecom and other service providers came for placements.

College Events :

Arts festivals and sports events were good. College union inaugurations were usually a full day event with a celebrity inaugurating these functions. Sports as a whole is very my limited in the institution and need more support from the upper level management.

Fee Structure And Facilities :

Very feasible and transparent. People can understand the breakup easily and hence can take actions accordingly. Online and other facilities to remit the fee was not available during my tenure as student with college. Other mode of fee remittance must be introduced.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

Minimal Scholorship and they lack tie up with loans making it difficult for some students to avail loans.

Campus Life :

Equality was good. College fests were big with ample of people coming in and participating. College committees lacked budget but still managed good with this limited budgets in smooth running of college organised festivals. Most clubs in colleges were small.

Hostel Facilities :

I had a house nearby so no hostel. There are some PG and other hostel facilities. Stay was basic but with ample lighting and normal food. Good quality can always be improved in the hostels. So it will be an average experience overall.

Alumni/Alumna :

Not much help. Seniors connections are usually lost after classes. There is no aluminise organisation.

Admission :

I wanted to be an entrepreneur and was interested to learn the basics of business. Hence I opted BBA. Then I called up the college and had a brief discussion and joined the course. First a small interview of two levels were done and then they choose on merit basis.

Faculty :

I had around 120 classes every semester and students were 22 or so. Topics were industry relevant. Teachers were trained well and had ample experience to teach relevant subjects. Students were also interested to learn from the best and regular industry visits were done.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Curriculum is often traditional and that doesn't influenced me much. I think the curriculum is needed to be improved and regular updation must be added to the curriculum. More practical oriented aspects of the subjects must be provided to the students. Also real time experience with the domain will increase the skill set of the students and make them fit for the industry.

Course Curriculum Overview:

As a commerce student i have always been interested in accounting and business so it was a good idea to choose BBA. Course provides deep learning about the inner activities for starting and maintaining a enterprise. It would have better if they provide an internship along with the 3 year course so that students can get to know about the subject directly

Course Curriculum Overview:

Anyone who wants to persue their career in management or administration sectors they can chose for BBA (Bachelors in Business Administration ) program from ST. PAULS COLLEGE KALAMASSERY. Every course requires some hardworks and preparations. This improvise your capabilities for implementing the applications of several subjects which are taught in this program. The timings of the exams along with the semester lessons are quite managable. You will be providing greater job opportunities if you have the potential to continue the advanced versions of your programs which you will be gaining from your UG level.
