Remarks

Overall its an average collage, if you have other better options you can easily avoid this college.

CET after my diploma and had scored 4004 rank, Choose this collage since it was near to my place at that point of time.

I had taken Instrumentation engineering with electives being ,micro-controller,mobile,Bio - DSP ,laser and optical instrumentation, Aircraft instrumentation,Neural networks and fuzzy logic etc.

Internships Opportunities

No internship were provided in the collage. Most of the companies which came were offering BPO or Call center jobs. Placements were really bad so most of us had to search for job outside the campus.

College events were good,colorful and only good thing about the collage. They conduct collage events on a regular basics and also invite people from film and sports to be the guest.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Fee structure were according to the government rules, if its government the fee will be nominal but if its direct admission to the collage then the fee will be very expensive.

Fees and Financial Aid

Yes i had taken education loan to do my engineering,i suggest to go for the education loan from CANARA bank which is one of the best banks in the country.

Campus Life

Campus is excellent with lush green trees well maintained, Gender ratio is equal,workshops are ok and average, Extracurricular and sports are good and they conduct this on regular basic. labs are average.

Hostel Facilities

Hostel facilities are average but we also get facilities like WIFI connectivity,In house Gym. Mess food is below standards with respect to the cleanliness but we can find some good hotels outside the collage. PG rooms outside the collage will be around 3k to 3.5k with all the facilities.

External Expense: Rs.2000 - Rs.4000

Alumni/Alumna

We don't have active alumni network in collage, but we will try help out the students by guiding them in the right direction and path for there career. We also have contacted the collage on setting up the alumni network.

Exam Structure

Exams were according to the VTU standards and were followed strictly, the time gap between lab exams and the main theory exams were always less giving the students very less time to regroup.

Faculty

Faculty were average. But had a couple to good faculty as well. Faculty for the lab were not that great and had a really bad time completing the lab experiments.

Amazon, Deloitte, Oracle and many tech companies like them are in agreement with our college for placements. Our college has a great placements opportunities as even after so many CSE students, 70% students every year gets placed with packages as high as 30 lakhs even.

a good college with good atmosphere and placements

Placement Experience:

students can be eligible for placements from 3rd year only, many companies have visited the college like TATA,Accenture and many other.The highest package for this year is about 19 lakhs , average package is about 3 lakhs,talking about the percentage our college has 77% of the college placements, i am planning to pursue higher education after my graduation

Placement Experience:

We enter the placement at the end of 3rd year almost at 4th year(6th to 7th semester). The placement cell organizes various traning program, including mock interviews, group discussions, and communication skills workshops. Past 3 to 4 years more than 10 companies per year offered hiring 100+ students. But over the year the companies have come down and providing les opportunities. Companies like TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Accenture, etc recruite students from this college. The highest package is 25LPA and the average package is around 6LPA. Due to the increase in the rate of admission, the percentage has been decresed. Almost 25 out of 100 students are getting placed in this college. After getting degree, I will try my level best to get placed in campus itself. If not, I am interested more in Competitive exams, I will focus on it.

Placement Experience:

From the 6th and 7th semester students are eligible gor campus placements. Students are asked to apply for the campus placements from the career development department of the college according to the marks. Some companies visited are like jspider, qspider, Xworkz, kodnest, Infosys, 3 q sutantra, toyota, triveni,idea infinity,edgeverve, eton ,dfm technology, tata elaxi, enventure and many more. And highest package in 8 to 12 LPA. The students are placed according to the companies requiments min 20 students are placed outof 50 students My plan is to get a good, high paying job after completing my graduation.

The Pros and Cons of being a student at MIT Manipal

Placement Experience:

From the7th sem onwards campus placements are put in place for btech students. Many companies such as microsoft, google, BMW, mercedes, accenture and others look for students here. The top 100 of each branch get the highest packages with the average of that being 22lpa for the cce branch. The rest of the students that are placed have an average salary of 14 lpa. Almost all the students are placed with the placement rate being around 90% for my branch. I plan on working for 2 years after getting placed and then pursuing an MBa degree abroad to further my tenure as a valuable asset to whatever company takes me under their wing.

Placement Experience:

Placements are good in college . Highest package was 52 lpa in 2024 and average was 9-10 lpa. But the percentage was very less in 2024 because of recession and negligence of placement cell and their bad decisions.

The College Life Of A Bangalorean

CET was the criteria for me choosing my college. I wrote CET and based on that I got a seat in KNSIT and hence when CET placements for colleges were going on i choose KNSIT. KNSIT was near to my home and the locality of the college was also good and decent hence I chose it. CET, management quota and some other quotas are the eligibility criteria to get into our college. Process is simple wrote CET and clear it and get admission into one of the engineering streams or pay more money and get a seat via management quota or normal general quota. Via CET there is a cutoff and it varies year to year based on the difficulty of the exam conducted that year other than this there's no cutoff for other admission ways. Scholarship quota also is there and some get into the college by getting some scholarship while they were studying 12th, so fees is also less for these students....Read More
