About college

College management is very strick in terms of displain and academics.

At the start of the first day of the university they will provide academic calendar. In that calendar they will mention every thing like exam date, holidays, results, events, intenship etc. Course curriculum is groomed very well and definitely it will met the industry's knowledge.

Companies like wipro, puma, flipkart, byjus, infosys, tcs, etc are visiting university. For recruitment students require to maintain cgpa around 6. 0. Then only students are eligible for this placement process. Around 50-60% is placing in companies every year. From first year onwards university preparing students for this placement process with a special course called pps.

College will celebrate every kind of events like technical, cultural, management festivals. There is an event called meraki it will happen in march of every year. And its take place in university itself. Meraki is gonna happen for 3 days. In meraki only university conducts sports, dance, fashion show etc.

Fee structure is littel bit expensive. And college accept cash, card, DD, online transfer, net banking. No there is no extra fee. Yes college provide transparency in the fee-breakdown. Like for library this much, for labs this much, for examination fee like this etc.

No I didn't opted for any scholarship. But there is an option for scholarship but that is only for that state (Karnataka) students.

Campus is full of green covered with trees everywhere. Gender ratio is like 65:35 (male:female). Every saturday extracurricular activities will happen and its open stage for all. In terms of lab there are n number of labs available for every branch. For Sports also college is giving good encouragement. And competitions are quite common. Debates will happen rarely and robotics will takes place every Saturday.

Yes I opted for hostel. Hostel rooms are very clean and neat. And food also hygienic. And PGs also available near the university area. PGs cost around 80000-100000. Its basdd what kind of pg your choosing.

Senior students are very friendly to juniors and there is no ragging in presidency university. If management found anything like ragging they are gonna file a FIR and student who ragged is gonna suspended from college.

I got admission in this college based on my 12th standard marks. At that time no entrance exam for college. But now they are conducting entrance exam. I choosen this college because it has good infrastructure and labs, faculty etc. From my childhood I was intresterd in CSE so I choosen this course.

There are around 1000+ staff is available. All of them are completed phds, some are from big institutions like bitspilani, IIT, NIT etc. In my course there are 250+ staff is available. And faculty is very friendly to the students on explaining syllabus, clarifying doubts etc. They always encourage us to participate in competitions and etc.
