Entrance Preview

I took UPTU EXAM in year 2008. I got 13000 rank and got admission in this college through direct councelling. This college was best among the choices i was having.

Internships Opportunities

My college internship experience was very good. I have done my internship in N.N.E PHARMAPLAN INDIA PVT LTD. This company was indulged in the designing work of new plants. Designing work includes mechanical design, civil design, electrical design, hvac design etc. They do their work on AUTOCAD SOFTWARE. I have done my internship in electrical design.

Placement Experience

Placement and job opportunities were not so good. However there were placements in IT companies but placements in core companies were almost nill.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Fee structure was expensive. In 2008, it was Rs 98500 for first year and 78450 for second, third and fourth year respectively.In my experince it was not feasible, atleast for me.

Fees and Financial Aid

College used to give scholarship to meritorious students who came first, second and third in their respective branches. They used to give Rs 10000 to topper. And 5000 to other two. I dont know about the loan facilities.

Campus Life

In my opinion extracurricular, labs, sports, competitions such as robotics, debates etc. Play a very important role in the overall development of a student. In my colleges these facilities were upto the mark.

Alumni/Alumna

Alumni network is very good, there are very good senior students who are helping the new students in shaping their future by giving them proper guidance.

Exam Structure

Exam structure was very planned. Clearing B.TECH exams is not at all a difficult task. One can easily clear those exams getting passing marks, but clearing B.TECH with knowledge both theortical and practical is really a difficult task.

Faculty

3.5

Faculty of the college was average. Some of the faculty members were exceptionally good. Dean of the college was also good. Practical exposure was there for the students. Some of the faculty members were also helpful in resolving your personal problems. Some of the faculty members motivated us for pursuing higher studies, and some also motivated us to take part in college tech fests and other events.

Affordable college with good placement

Course Curriculum Overview:

I choose BTech because I wanted to explore how real world works with technology and to know the insights of technology. The college mostly provides theoretical knowledge and not the practical knowledge refraining us from more exposure to real world problems. If the course is shifted from theoretical to practical it'll be really helpful. Two exams are conducted per semester, and the difficulty level is moderate.

Placement Experience:

From 6th Semester students are elligible for Campus placements. The Median package is around 4.5 LPA. Some good companies giving students package of around 10 LPA also visit our college whereas some mass recuriter companies like also visit our college are TCS, Infosys, wipro and cognizant. Here, In this College Placement percentage is good and around 80-90% student get placed.

from seventh semester student s becomes available for placements thre are lots of sales company and some tech companaies also that visited in out college there are lots of offers made throught these companies highest package offered was 1.21 crore and average salalry is 4 lakh 60 to 70 percent if students are getting placements through this placement season my future plan is to gather some money through job an srtart my own bussiness.

During my first year we had the same curriculum as CSE department just few subjects differ which was very good as we also got the opportunity to study programming languages. Though our new batch doesn't have this curriculum as per rule of the NEP.

Reality of private college

A Non-Biased take on I.T.S. Engineering College

About ITS engineering College

I did try to apply for IP - COLLEGES like MAIT, BVCOE, MSIT, etc but due to a low score in JEE, I couldn't get into it.. After that I tried to get into universities Like Sharda, amity, VIT but due to high fees I need to drop that plan too.. in greater noida, I searched for many colleges , took review from each student about the colleges some said don't take admission in our's some said you can take admission but the college is pretty decent. but when I came to ITS 90% of the students said the college is good, they provide many opportunities even tho it;s not that popular than other colleges. I am from delhi and I had any plan of joining any other colleges that delhi but in a fair of colleges held by college dunia in pragati maidan they showed us not to worry if you had messed up in JEE there are also good colleges other than that....Read More
