Remarks

Good college management, student friendly and approachable.

Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

The course curriculum is well planned and executed. The clinical curriculum is in such a way which helps us to learn the concept and procedures very clearly and also gives an idea about researches and it's technics and methods. So all these help us develop personally and professionally.

Placement Experience

4.5

The hospital provides us the platform to pursue our internship of 1 year. We are posted in different depending for a certain period of time where we learn clinical procedures and gain knowledge.

College Events

4

All the important events are celebrated by the college management like fest, cultural events to promote cultural hormony and group works, convocations, skill development programs, and rallies to promote awareness in the public. These events are knowledge based as well as fun filled.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Feasible. Payment is made through cards or direct payment methods. Additional fee is collected for events like fest and convocation. No additional charges for getting admission into this college but caution deposit is to be paid. The college provides transparency in fee breakdown.

Fees and Financial Aid

Yes, college has offered? many scholarship and educational loan, but I have not availed any of them. So I don't know the details.

Campus Life

4

Gender ratio is 1. 5 : 1. The environment of college is very good and we have different societies and clubs to deal with different issues and problems. There are many workshops to help in skill development and gain clinical knowledge. And many times events are hosted by the students to explore diversity and gain leadership qualities.

Hostel Facilities

4

I have opted hostel. The hostel rooms are spacious and with all the essential facilities like fans, lights and plug points, lockers and hangers. Three members are given a room. The hostel fee per year is 104000. The room has a door, two windows and 2 washroons.

Alumni/Alumna

The seniors are friendly with us. They clear our doubts. We all celebrate events and functions together.

Admission

I have given my NEET examination in 2017 and scored a good rank. According to the merit list I was given NRI medical college, Vishakhapatnam. The college is situated in a rural area. The factors that made me choose this institution is its placement, eco-friendly environment and student friendly facility and my seniors as well. Because of its location in the rural area, many no. of cases are reported every day. The seats are granted according to the merit list by ntruhs and admission is done in the college itself.

Faculty

4.5

For every subject there are about 7 to 8 lecturers. The average age being 38- 40. All of them have done their super specialisation and are experts in their respective subjects. their lectures are very clear and concept oriented. Doubts are also clarified in the class itself.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Our curriculum is CBME based. I chose this course cause of my sister., she is also studying in our college. There is a bit of spoon feeding here. But the person who studies on their interest only gets good marks. The timings for the exams are not so bad but are difficult to complete the given syllabus in time.

Firstly i wanted to become a doctor. I was firstly afraid of joining in this college as it is new one and the college admission is mainly based on merit so not much of option i got. I got a all india rank of around 17000 and state rank of 1049 . Now i got md general medicine in kurnool medical college. So it gives you great knowledge for the seeking. Yearly one final with practicals and 3 internals which are easy one if you study moderate ly also .

Course Curriculum Overview:

MBBS is the only course that could make me a surgeon that I always wanted to become, hence I chose this course I choose this college due to its high patient load . I could also go to AIIMS Deogarh, Jammu, Guwahati, Madhurai or Jipmer Karaikal but I choose AMC over them is due to Patient load only. Here I can get good clinical exposure compared to those There are programs like Family Adoption programme, Early Clinical Exposure form the first year itself , and from second year only students go to ward postings. There is always real world application in this course This course particularly dont want any improvements in my opinion, NMC regulates and improves the curriculum in real time and that is implemented in this college perfectly. For every like 3 months we have internal exams to assess ourselves . And final exams in the last.

1. First of all the joy to treat and cure a patient is irreplacable with any other branch. 2. You get to see real time patients all the way since 2nd year itself and understand how everything works in real time. 3.The exams have a gap of around 3 months and are moderate to difficult. 4. A more integrative teaching is needed.
